Freddie’s hot dog stand isn’t just a hot dog stand. It’s an experience. It’s a lifestyle.
Never in my life have I tasted a more delicious tube of meat in my life, and I dare say I don’t think I ever will again.
Freddie’s is a Boulder staple — and as is the same as the snow covered mountains one can view from this rolling cart of magic, Freddie’s will always live within the deepest crevices of my heart and soul. This wondrous institution brought me friendships and strengthened existing relationships to depths that one can’t simply type.
I…I love you, Freddie. Wherever you are. Always. Thank you for the memories. And most of all, thank you for the meat.

Oh. Hell. Yes. We got some dogs here this eve and my kids said it was the best dinner they’d had in ages. I am never taking those monsters into a restaurant ever again. While they stuck with the pedestrian beef franks, I grabbed a buffalo brat and had it Chicago style with all the fixings. It was heaven. Very cool. Hitting this cart up again for sure.

Roam the streets during the art festival looking for a meal to please 3 vegetarians & 1 13 year old meat eater. No easy task. We stumble upon this hot dog stand that offers both meat AND veggie dogs. SCORE!!! He warmed the veggie dogs on the spot. We all 4 left with happy bellies. Thank you Freddie!!!

Absolute perfection. I have come here for years. Mike made hot dogs for me as a young teen in high school, as a hungry college kid, and now, he serves me and my little family. Best hot dogs, every single time. Made with love. Simple and just right. Love it. We’ll keep coming back forever.

I was hungry and looking for a painless and cheap meal — as I was walking aimlessly down Pearl Street I saw the stand and thought, «why not?» Definitely not disappointed, the hotdogs are inexpensive and tasty. I had a regular dog then a elk one — both were brilliant.
As a bonus, Freddie is super friendly and kind. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would return next time I fall off my healthy foods bandwagon.

I get these hot dogs every time I’m on Pearl St. and it’s totally worth the immanent gluten-​poisoning I suffer (I’m very sensitive to gluten).
Get all the things on it, obviously.
You’ll find it if you follow the scent of pure glory.

Best hot dogs in town hands down! The younger fellow that works there is quite the «class act» ask him to tell you some jokes, he’s got hundreds.

Looking for a quick bite on Pearl St? Look no further! Mike, the owner is awesome, feel free to sit in his chairs and have a chat while he makes your dog, sausage, or brat, and stay as long as you’d like. Mike is great company! Go for the elk bratwurst. Definitely my favorite menu item!

Bringing some New Jersey flare to the streets of Boulder, Freddie’s Hot Dogs is a welcome addition to the Pearl St Mall!
The hot dog cart is loaded with all sorts of treats including cookies, chips, beverages and of course – hot dogs; of which there are several different kinds to choose from (including veggie dogs).
Aside from providing an easy, cheap, and convenient snack while walking the mall, the people who work at the cart are all very helpful and amiable. The man who now owns the cart has an extensive knowledge about Boulder and can give you many good suggestions on topics that range from where to eat in Boulder, to where to get a good haircut!
The cart is not only open during the day (11AM-​8PM)! On most weekends, they keep the cart open from 10.30−2AM, so if you get a hankering for a hot dog after you bar-​hop (or just want a bottle of water) Freddie’s Hot Dogs will be there for you!
