Update: Paypal was never used to buy his guitar. It was done with a credit card only per his request to save money. I wish I did my homework before I did business with him. Never again.

Dealing with Guitar Desires was a fabulous experience. Rob is honest and hard working. Rob is also one of the most knowledgeable and friendly guys I have met. Rob has sold at least 4 of my guitars in the past and I always got a fair price and was paid promptly.

Guitar Desires sold a 1976 Fender Stratocaster for me. Rob came out to my house and we agreed to sell it. He seemed honest and sincere. He was supposed to get a percent and was to sell it on EBay. I agreed.
The guitar sold on EBay and I was told I would get a check withing a week or so. It has been months and still no check. Rob does not return my calls.
Rob and Guitar Desires basically stole my guitar. I would advise you to avoid getting your guitar stolen and use a different dealer that wont steal your guitar.
I am forced to sue Rob and Guitar Desires in an attempt to get the money from the guitar.
Update: I did get paid for my guitar. I did get the money owed. I still would not recommend Guitars Desires but I would no longer state that my guitar was stolen as I did get a check for the full amount after about 6 months.
