John Dodge, DMD MS – Periodontics & Dental Implants

Terrible — just borderline criminal — do not trust these people. Very nice u they play games with your money. There are far more honest and high integrity people in Boulder Colorado. They actually laughed at me. These people are actual criminals. Go elsewhere and do not believe anything they say.

He removed a tooth with an infected root and put in a bone graft in preparation for him to put in a post («implant») several months later. One month after the tooth was removed & the bone graft was put in I had such a massive infection that I had to go to an oral surgeon. Around 3 months later he put in the post (implant). 2 ½ weeks later, debilitating pain began that radiated to the ear and down to the throat. He gave me nerve blocks for several days and said, «This is not an infection, so I won’t give you antibiotics.» It WAS an infection and my jaw ballooned out. I went to an oral surgeon who immediately said I had an infection and gave me antibiotics.
Dr. Dodge did another bone graft and implant post for me 4 years ago; the only complication was that Dr. Murphy, who was to put the tooth on the post, had me return to Dr. Dodge «because the post was too high» and it needed to be lowered first. I was surprised to recognize Dr. Dodge’s complete inability to deal with any complications during my second implant procedures. I would not recommend this periodontist.

Great friendly staff. From the front desk all the way through. They are excellent at talking you through every procedure and piece of equipment which relieves a lot of anxiety some feel while at the dentist. Not many people love a trip to the dentist, but this place is top notch.
