Since this is the only boba tea shop in Boulder, I decided to give it a try when I had a sudden craving for it. They have an assortment of boba tea. The boba tea tasted fine but it is too sweet. The flavored boba milk tea there is not authentic. It does not contain real tea. It is mixed with syrup and fresh milk instead. They charge for boba separately too. The boba is not very tangy. However, it is conveniently located on the hill.

Seriously my favorite denver lollicup. On top of all the awesome boba drinks they have, they have a whole other menu. They have lots of snacks, smoothies and drinks. I went in one night and was greeted by the sweetest worker. My personal favorite snow drink is coffee, but if youre looking for something lighter while still having boba i go for the honey green tea with half the sweetner.

Stopped in here to have a mango boba. It was perfect, just the way I like them– cold and sweet and the boba was plump. I asked for extra boba and they complied happily. The only complaint I have is that I finished it too quickly ;-) they offer a large menu of drinks, different flavor a, teas, etc. I recommend the mango boba smoothie. Update: we’ve been in a few more times since last visit and it seems that the quality of drinks is going significantly downhill. Today, I ordered three boba drinks(two smoothies and a milk tea) and the boba tasted like it had been soaked overnight which is a big no-no. It was not plump and fresh and chewy like we like it& stayed stuck at the bottom of our cups. The smoothies also tasted terrible, and smelled slightly of soured rags. We were really disappointed.

Today I visited this café for the first time, and tried the taro milk tea boba. Flavor of taro was on point, not too much ice, and it was made to order. The boba was a bit stiff which simply means 2 things; undercooked or held at too cold of a temperature before serving. They were edible, but it was enough impact to take a star away. Nonetheless though, I’m glad there is boba shop nearby on the hill, that is of a higher quality than the other Asian restaurants offering boba. For that, I believe it is worth returning.

This is one of the only places dedicated to serving bubble tea/boba in Boulder. There are other places that sell boba, but you won’t have as big of a variety in terms of customization. However, this is easily my least favorite boba place in all of Colorado. The quality of the boba isn’t great; it’s often hard and flavorless. The service is … very inconsistent here, to put it nicely. I’ve run into quite a few issues here, which always keeps me from coming here, but being the only real boba shop, I have no choice but to come here when friends want boba! Boo. The store is smaller, but there’s usually plenty of open seating around. In short, if you’re in the mood for boba, this may be your only choice, but don’t let my bad experiences keep you from enjoying your gelatinous dessert. Spend a few bucks and have a good time!

Taste: 3 Service: 3 Distinctiveness: 5 If you are looking for great tasting boba and you are in boulder, you might just have to settle for this. If you have had lollicup on Colorado Blvd, or on Federal than don’t assume this will taste the same. It is easily the worst of the three. The problem is that boulder doesn’t have any options when it comes to boba(unless you want the extra sweet, really artificial boba you get at phở places). If you are craving boba you will have an okay time here.

Not how boba should be made. Go to any phở place for boba and you’ll taste the difference. Should be using coconut milk NOTCOWSMILK. Should be blending with ice not shaking up ice chunks. Your basically paying for cows milk, flavored powder, ice, boba pearls and in the end you get a watery milky«tea». Just not good. Not even the real deal. Food sucks too.

Perhaps I’ve just been spoiled by all of the great boba shops in Southern California, but this Lollicup just isn’t good. I ordered a large passion fruit green tea with boba and they were quite stingy on the boba. The tea itself tasted decent, but the boba wasn’t sweet and had a herbal taste to it, which is not normal. I also got popcorn chicken thinking that it would be a taiwanese style like most boba shops have and it was just normal popcorn chicken with a side of ranch. It tasted okay for regular popcorn chicken(a bit salty), but it just wasn’t what I was expecting. Why isn’t there a decent boba shop here in Colorado yet?

The first time I went to Lollicup in Boulder was about three years ago and it did not taste very good and the bobba was too mushy. I recently started to come back to Lollicup and I felt that as far as flavor and boba consistency goes, they have improved significantly. I usually get the Jasmine milk tea with bobba, which is creamy, smooth and not too sweet, but today I decided to try Lavender milk tea. To my surprise it tasted very smooth, creamy, and even throughout. The boba had a great texture, it wasn’t too mushy or too hard. It was perfectly soft and had a good chew to it. I will definitely come back here.

I go here whenever I am near the Hill for Boba Tea. Their boba milk tea is very good, but a little sweet. This place is also very hit or miss. I’ve had some great drinks here and so just okay drinks.

Holy cow their milk tea is so good. And I’ve gotten their Pork Buns before and those were delicious as well. Perfect little place to catch up with a friend! It’s really cute and cozy inside. they even have some games just in case you get bored! Great location right on the hill, too.

I love LOLLICUP, but this one is just bad. SLOW service and warm tea with warm boba. Gross! Might have been better if the girl making my drink wasn’t apparently stoned. Just sayin’!

Really nice collection of drinks, but the Boba Milk Tea is my favorite! It is a must have for everyone who has not tried it.

Customer service is super great and the quality is awesome. It’s a pretty cool chill out area. This place is convenient as it’s on the hill. The boba is authentic which is hard to find in some places. There’s also a bunch of yummy snacks on sale definitely a great place to treat yourself on a hot day. I’d say it’s better than a frap. Oh my gosh. Did I just say that? Lol

This is my favorite lollicup. Wish they had one in Thornton so I could go more often. Fair prices and great service. LOVEBOBA!

I love this place. It’s been a year since I lived in Boulder, and I still reminisce on it fondly. The boba is excellent, as is selection of games. They also have free wifi which is a definite plus around finals(ask for the password, most people don’t know you can get it, which makes it a hidden gem of a study place). The food is not phenomenal, but that’s not why you go to Lollicup. You go to Lollicup for a nice boba snow, and that is exactly what you get(in any flavor combination you can imagine!). Try the sesame!

I watched a food program a few weeks back and had my first introduction to Thai Boba Bubble Tea drinks. Today, I was in Boulder, saw a Boba Tea sign and impulsively crossed the street to try a traditional Boba bubble tea. The regular size set me back about $ 4. The iced milky tea was tasty and the tapioca bubbles were filling. Was it good? Yes. Was it something that I need more than once? Probably not, but I am not big on the $ 4-$ 5 non alcoholic drinks. My money is better spent in a bar.

I love boba. Lollicup’s boba drinks are delicious. However, the wait is a hit-or-miss. At times, I get my drink within a couple of minutes and I’m out the door in a blink. However, there have been times where I’ve waited an upwards of twenty minutes. My reasoning is: not enough staffed workers. It makes sense, though, since the Boba tea and tapioca culture isn’t as known in the very-white Boulder area, and to have a full staff at all times would render no profit. The answer to this is to stop by when you have plenty of time. Like, just a free hour. You know, since we all have time like that.

I went into Lollicup today eager to see if they actually had tapioca drinks. I am from California, and we have many tapioca places throughout the state. Since I have been visiting this summer however in Colorado, the Ethnic foods have been terrible! So I was a little skeptical on coming to Lollicup at first. When I went in though, they had almost all of the same drinks back home. Generally I get thai milk tea, however I have tried numerous thai ice teas in colorado since being here and all have been terrible. So I ordered Passion Fruit Snow Bubble instead, and man that was the best! Tapioca balls were cooked just perfectly, and the snow drink that I chose was just like those of back home. I am very grateful to have found this place. It was definatley worth the drive if your coming from longmont. I will be back!

I love Lollicup, its my number 1 Boba place. But I can’t help but agree with the reviews about the inconsistent drinks and long waits. But I forgive them for it, I’ll wait and take my chances on their honeydew boba anyday.
