Maxpresso Cafe

Though I don’t get over to Maxpresso very often, when I do it is always excellent.
My son goes there much more often than I do and prefers Maxpresso over the other coffee joints in Boulder these days.
He’s a picky one, too.
The other reviewers have already gone into detail about the quality coffee and personable owner, and that’s been my experience as well.
We’re lucky to have Maxpresso in Boulder.

Oh god yes, Maxpresso! This is one of two coffeehouses I’ll voluntarily ride all the way downtown from Gunbarrel to go to… and what’s more, deal with the insanity that is 28^th /​29^th Street mall traffic to visit.
Max, what can I say. Mea culpa, I truly don’t come in often enough anymore but for sure everytime I do, even if it’s been a year, you still recognise me. Maybe it’s because I’m that crazy girl-​on-​a-​bicycle.
The man knows his shots. This is one of the 2 places I know of in Boulder where you can ask for a ristretto shot, and they won’t look at you like you grew six heads and just landed. Oh and the hotdogs are SCRUMPTIOUS, truly.
Free wifi, a cool owner who cares about his clientele… what more could you ask?
me, I could ask for an easier location to get to without a car: grump: but that’s about it.

THE best coffee I’ve had in Boulder, CO, hands down. I’ve been to Europe before and Max’s coffee is just as good, if not better in some cases. The coffee is really good quality and you can really tell when you drink there.
The café is a wonderful place and Max is such a sweet man. We’ve been going there ever since he opened and he knows my whole family and my friends. Sadly we had to move away and my friends tell me he still asks about us when they visit.
Try the frappes, you can actually taste the coffee in them unlike other coffee beverages at other coffee places that are taking over the world but shall remain nameless. He also has really yummy hot dogs. It sounds crazy, but hot dogs and coffee actually go well together on a nice summer day.
