What a great selection for a small neighborhood spot! Simple place — felt very Trader Joe’s-ish from the 90’s if that resonates with anyone — grin. I was able to find one of my new favorites — Greenbar distilleries — Organic TRU Gin. I wish I had bought two more bottles — it’s hard to find here in San Diego without a 45 min trek to Del Mar. Helpful staff too!

Great beer selection! Maybe the best I’ve seen at any neighborhood store. Really weird entrance though on the South side of an outlying building in a strip mall complex that also houses Lucky Market.

Excellent neighborhood family run liquor store right next to Lucky’s Market on N. Broadway. Their prices rock, especially for Upslope, a local craft beer and they beat all prices by $ 3 – 4 a 12 pack. They run great text message specials and my only zing is that the staff should be more proactively informed of these specials so when you walk in to get one, you don’t get a blank stare. Overall, nice friendly staff.

I used to live in Boulder, and would frequent this store for its great wine selection. Just recently i needed a bottle of wine delivered to a client /friend in the area. Although they dont normally do it, Mark was very nice and offered to deliver it to them in his spare time. Can’t say enough nice things about North Boulder Liquor and especially Mark!

Excellent deals on wines I actually want to buy. Not a huge place, but they have a great selection for how much space they have. The size is actually perfect because I don’t feel overwhelmed. The staff are all very friendly. This is my most frequented liquor store in Boulder.

Awesome family owned store that brings in special items regularly and by request. The store is also beautifully authentic with period latched chiller doors — cool!

Best in Boulder! Employees(beside that gangsta stocker guy) are friendly and are not snobs at all. They have a decent variety; however, what they have is amazing. There single beer selection rocks, liquor prices are the lowest in Boulder, scotch and whsikey selection is the best I’ve seen, and they actual care about their wine side. I’ve asked multiple people about their opinions and pairing suggestions and they have been honest and told me they didn’t have a clue when then didn’t have a clue. I bike an extra mile to go to this place. One day when I had a big basket, one of the employees walked me out with half of the load to my girlfriend’s car. These guys are real, not drunks, and deserve their spot in Boulder!

Nice Liquor/Wine/Beer place convenient to North Boulder. Looks nicer inside than very nondescript outside, esp. wine section. I’m not a wine expert, but know enough to be dangerous, so their abundant descriptions, reviews/ratings, and writeups of specific wines is very helpful. Clear organization of wines by type, and interesting selection, with variety of champagnes and organic wines. Decent choice of cold brews and friendly staff.

I think this is boulder’s best liquor store. Its not the biggest, its not new and shiny(what liquor store is?), but it may well be the cheapest, and its within walking distance of my house. Oh, and they love dogs. NBL sells cases of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale for $ 11.99! Elsewhere in town you’ll pay upwards of $ 15. Also the staff really knows their stuff in a helpful, unpretentious way. Need a cheap wine that tastes expensive? They’ll give you 3 options. Need to know how to make a kick-ass bloody mary? They’ll tell you their secret(it’s to soak a chili pepper in your vodka overnight first).
