Another great Rite A. location/pharmacy. ‘Compassionate pharmacists(*especially the middle aged-to-early 60 ‘s(?) male pharmacist, ‘apologies– I don’t know his name because I primarily work with Ft. Collins Rite A.) but he demonstrates SUCHKINDNESS, & an accommodating manner. This particular pharmacist didn’t know me well at all, but patiently answered all of my questions & willingly called Ft. C. Rite A. to discuss inventory. This might sound like simply«doing one’s job», but in this day and age, it can be difficult to get people to go out of their way, considering what wages are for the middle class & considering that many people are suffering w/problems & issues you’d never know about, unless you walked in their shoes… Often times those matters come through silently in one’s daily job, interactions with strangers, etc. To find compassionate and caring people who truly would like to help is wonderful; certainly more so when you’re feeling especially ill. This is another Rite Aid pharmacy that qualifies with these amazing descriptors. I’ve had lovely experiences here at least 3 to 4 times: ‘consistent, predictable, fast, thorough and worth the trip to Boulder to get to them. Thank you, Boulder Rite Aid(28th Street location).

Convenient location for rite-aid stuff(meds, toiletries, etc). It has a lot of quirky additional stuff(beach chairs, as seen on tv products, lawn gnomes — so it’s worth looking around. I actually bought some comfy cheap house moccasins that i love. some times the staff chat with each other while ringing up customers, which can be irksome at times.

Talk about being mad thirsty! I have no idea why we stopped at this store, wife needed something and we were psycho thirsty my friends. My tongue and throat felt like a parched strip of back 40 saddle leather. See it’s dry up here and try coming into town from another state, combine the dryness of air travel, the low oxygen in the atmosphere up here by all the these fucking huge rocks everywhere pointing up to the heavens, and it’s enough to make you wanna squeeze the sweat out of your T-Shirt straight into your mouth for some blessed hydration. All I remember is squinting into the sun and hearing the eerie squelch of circling buzzards and wondering if their feathers keep them warm up there cause it was cold and dry down here. And so thirsty. And then there it was. Rite Aid. Yeah that’s right, we needed some aid all right. Yeah this store is huge. You can get lost in it. In fact we did. I was standing by a soda cooler with the door open holding a Mexican coke made with sugar instead of the gross high fructose corn syrup and I didn’t care if anyone was watching. I held that glass bottle up and rubbed it on my face and neck, exactly, exactly like Michael Douglas in Falling Down. And then I heard my wife yelling«Greg!» When rendezvousing at the register as planned we both discovered each other clutching an entire gallon of local spring water. Great minds think alike. The cashier and crew here were a friendly and sympathizing bunch that asked where we were from and why we were so thirsty. They even offered us some oxygen from a can, I shit you not. True story. Those friendly kids made us love Rite Aid by offering it and being in the right place at the right time.
