This is the place to go with all of your watches. I take my designer watches and my $ 20 fashion watches here. They’ve successfully fixed watches fancy downtown Boulder jewelers have said there is no hope for. Pay attention to the hours, but well worth it.

Came here on a Saturday. It was right before noon and while Unilocal told us they were closing soon we thought to ourselves«there’s no way that’s right, that means they are only open for 2 hours on a Saturday?» We opened the door just as the owner was locking and was surprised to see us. I asked if they were closed and he said yes.(Even though it was 12:02) He asked if there was something he could help us with but obviously was not happy to see us. I mentioned we could go elsewhere and he said«okay!» And shut the door. What business is only open for 2 hours on a Saturday? I get wanting a weekend but then why even open? Or why not open earlier? The whole thing was weird and frustrating. Taking my business elsewhere and not going back to that grouchy old man

I took a vintage pocket watch here and the watch was returned to me in worse condition than when I dropped it off. He claimed he had a friend who could fix the case but when he put the watch back in the case, he re-broke the case and the crystal came off the face. Terrible service. I had to call many times to get my watch back. He had it four months. Would never take a watch there again.

Great local business — we need to support these guys. Bob has been in business for 25 years because he’s doing things right! He’s friendly, skilled, honest, considerate and his prices are reasonable. It’s the right way to build your customer base — by providing good service. I agree with Kimberly’s comment: «I’m going to continue to give this place my business as well as recommend him to anyone who asks»

This place is amazing. The owner does great work for very affordable prices. You can walk in and have your battery changed in no time. I will continue to give this place my business as well as recommend him to anyone who asks! Rocky Mountain Time is the best in Boulder! Just remember they aren’t open Sunday and Monday!

RM Time Zone is the place to go if you need a watch repaired. I went in on a Tuesday around noon. There was a man being helped and two other ladies waiting but I figured I’d wait it out. It was definitely worth the ~10 minute wait. I got to see Bob work on a digital watch, a new Tag Heuer, a pedometer, and a basic Timex. He flawlessly flowed from piece to piece replacing batteries and checking mechanisms. All while keeping up pleasant conversation. I was having the batteries done in two different Fossil wristwatches. At another jewelers it was going to be about $ 40 and overnight for the two. Bob got them both replaced and polished the scuffs off one face in under 5 minutes and it was $ 19.95 for the two. So worth the trip. If anyone else needs watch repair Bob is the man to do it.

I am so grateful to have found this wonderful watch repair shop. Bob greeted me with a friendly smile upon upon entering and I was immediately glad I decided to come back(the hours of operation m-f don’t jive with my work schedule). There were many beautiful vintage watches for me to peruse while I waited to have my 4 watch batteries replaced. There was also a comfortable seating area with magazine where I could relax. I made myself at home after picking up some amazing chai two doors down(Himalayas) and didn’t have to wait long. Within ten minutes Bob had my watches up and ready to go. Not to mention he removed a couple scuffs from the watch faces which I really appreciated(I had no idea you could even do that). I will definitely be returning.

It’s a small place in Diagonal Plaza that takes you way back in time. Bob, who works on a timepiece as I walk in as the only customer, shows a humble but impressive antique collection of watches for sale. After I saw these I thought that’s why the shop feels like it’s been through much sepia filtering. Every watch there has done a whole lot of timekeeping! Anyhow, I went here for a battery replacement on my prized Fossil.(Prized because it’s a classic and the first watch I bought.) Bob paused repairing a piece to help me. That was pleasantly surprising because from the intricate looks of the piece he was working on it seemed I’d have to wait much longer than I wanted. I was out of there in less than a song’s length from Bob’s classic rock radio!

Realized my Tag Hueur watch battery needed replacing after having it done 9 months ago so looked up RM Time Zone and he took care of it in minutes, even lubricating the mechanisms. The other shop charged twice as much and needed the watch overnight. Will definitely take it back for any other work it might need.

I wouldn’t bring my watch anywhere else. Bob loves his work and knows it well. There don’t seem to be many places like this anymore. If you need work on your watch/clock, this is the place to go.

I needed the battery in my Movado watch replaced and instead of hauling to Cherry Creek, I took it here. Bob was extremely quick and efficient and I was on my way in under 5 minutes. While I was there, two men came in and needed to leave their watches to be repaired. Bob told them his honest opinions about what might needed to be done and it really seemed like Bob was going to take great care of their precious-es. Forget ‘service centers’… If I ever have watch troubles again, I know this will be my first stop.

Rocky Mountain Time Zone fixed my vintage(50 year old) watch and they really took good care of it. I would definitely suggest them!
