On a whim I came to try beginning Hip Hop on Wednesdays. Rico is one of the better teachers I’ve had in years. He makes each person feel special. I don’t even know how he does it, he is a beautifully skilled Dancer and Techer, a true gift. It’s a safe place to learn how to dance and/or to keep dancing. With a background in performing arts, I can say he is the real deal. I haven’t tried the other classes yet due to scheduling.

The beginner jazz class is a joke. It says you can drop in, but they don’t tell you that it’s all children who know all the moves with a teacher who barely shows anything. If you’re trying to get into dance, don’t go to that class. It seems like a scheme to get more money from a class they have to teach.

I take the very fun adult hip hop on Friday evenings. It’s a bunch of people of various ages and races all trying to get the fast moves and routines down. Plus the instructor is super cute and a very good teacher. Yea! There are tribal classes and fusion and a lot of classes for teens. It is $ 10, but $ 9 if you buy a punch card.
