The Little Yoga Studio

The studio is great and inexpensive. My only complaint was minute and purely personal – I didn’t like how the yoga instructor seemed a little too stern during class. Besides that, I loved the studio because everyone, including the students, is extremely nice and welcoming.

Lovely studio and great class with Kelly on my visit to Boulder. It was a bit warm till she opened the doors tho. Not so good for vinyasa class. And only $ 10 for drop in… great bargain. I’ll go again while I am in town visiting family.

I’m so thankful for this place. Yoga has become so pricey, but I can still afford to go here. So many great teachers and classes as well!

So much love for this place! I’ve taken a lot of yoga over the years and can’t say I’ve been experienced a studio with such a great variety of QUALITY classes and overarching welcoming attitude from the various instructors whose classes I’ve attended. It’s really about the yoga here not the image (though you’ll love the clean, open, beautiful space) — thanks for keeping it real and giving me something to look forward to in my practice each week!

I went twice when the Yoga Workshop was closed. It was a cute little studio. I forgot the name of the woman I practiced with! She was lovely though. A good, basic studio for a good, basic class.

Lucky Boulder to have a great yoga studio, ‘The Little Yoga Studio!’ First impression leaves lasting impression, front desk friendly & customer oriented. People were coming in almost late & female front desk gal says, ‘No problem, we never turn people away!’ Love that response.
This was last Friday on Halloween, at Trista Sukhruj’s 9:00 class. Loved this Kundalini class. Absolutely loved her class, loved her music, her words of wisdom. Clearly I wasn’t the only one, since the studio was full. Looking forward to returning on my next visit to Boulder.
Also, found it to be very clean and the room was keep warm but not Hot, which I like. Parking was easy too.
Oh and what a deal Only $ 10.00 drop in fee, gotta love that Boulder peeps.

The BEST studio! I’ve been taking yoga classes in Boulder for 10+ years and this is my favorite studio to date. Outstanding teachers, organized staff, friendly/​family vibe, low key, easy parking, prompt classes, clean space, great class times. I also teach yoga in Boulder and confidently send my students to this studio knowing they will have an incredible experience. Love!!!

I really like this place. It’s small but the instructors that I’ve had there have been good and friendly to beginners. The drop-​in $ 10/​class price is great. The parking near there can sometimes get busy but I don’t usually have trouble getting a spot.

I just took my first class ever at The Little Yoga Studio, and was incredibly happy with the whole experience. The instructor, Kelly, welcomed me warmly into the studio. The hour-​long class was a Gentle Vinyasa class that incorporated just enough flow to break a sweat, while also weaving in some more restorative postures. The pace was perfect, the music was calming, and Kelly’s instructions were just right. The studio space is calming and cozy, yet large enough to accommodate a big group. I also liked that the lights were kept a bit on the dim side (sometimes practicing in bright lights or bright daylight can be jarring.) I can see why the classes here fill up. At $ 10 for a drop-​in fee, this place is a serious gem! I’ll definitely be back.

This place is affordable and totally not pretentious like, um, pretty much every other yoga studio in Boulder. The desk staff is nice, authentically nice. I haven’t taken a lot of different kinds if classes here, but may I recommend Christa’s Friday am kundalini class. It is out of this world. It just may change your life…

(2.5 stars) I went to this studio while visiting Boulder in the summer. It seems like a friendly and clean place, and the hot class I went to was fine. The teacher seemed attentive to alignment, and overall I think the class would have been good. My reason for dropping the stars was because though I have done many many hot classes before, I think the altitude may have compounded the heat for me so I had to step out of the class (low blood pressure), but the teacher would not let me. In fact, she blocked my path, even though I was quietly and discreetly trying to exit. I know she did it so not to disrupt others’ practice, but I was about to pass out and it was even uncomfortable for me to be in child’s pose or at all in the room. I felt like my head was about to explode and she made me wait several minutes before she let me out. After the class she did ask if I was ok but she seemed more annoyed that I’d disrupted a few minutes of the class than genuinely concerned for my health. Not my kind of teacher.

My favorite yoga studio ever. Check them out — you won’t be disappointed. I love all of the classes, especially those taught by StephenU, Martha, Amy, and Larissa! The pricing is fantastic, and I appreciate how inclusive and non-​judgemental the staff is. It’s clearly a well managed business.

One of the best and most original classes I’ve been to for quite some time. Did the Power Flow Vinyasa level 2 with Stephen U. Great, innovative, relevant warm up and postures, terrific guidance, nice noncompetitive feel and FUN! If you’re looking for ultratraditional, this isn’t it, if you’re looking for the standard format (core power) this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a good, challenging and enlightening physical experience that will open more than your eyes, don’t miss this affordable and unique yoga class.

I’ve tried a lot of yoga options in Boulder, and after a particularly irksome experience of paying $ 19 for an hour-​long class at Core Power, I was so happy to find the Little Yoga Studio. It is only $ 10, making it affordable without having to sign up for a monthly program. I’ve tried 4 or 5 different classes and have absolutely loved them all. I was a little worried that the low price point would mean lower quality classes, but the classes I’ve taken are among the best I’ve ever taken. Classes get crowded, and the lobby is a bit crazy between classes, but there is still a very nice atmosphere – in fact the crowding seems to foster some camaraderie. Great classes, great teachers, and the cheapest option in town… I’m totally hooked!

My friend introduced me to Little Yoga and I absolutely fell in love when I started going to classes here nearly a year ago– haven’t gone anywhere else since! They have a minimalist approach to their studio (hence the ‘little’ part– but a good size yoga classroom!) which makes for a very cozy atmosphere and you really get to know the staff and fellow followers which is great. It also lends to the great class price– only $ 10 in Boulder is a no brainer for awesome instructors and a great variety of classes, times, and different instructors teaching all types of yoga. I really can’t say enough good about this place, check them out. They are also great about position modifications for injuries and have always been very attentive to each person in their classroom. Kelly L goes above and beyond if you have a chance to attend any of her classes, but really everyone is great that teaches here!

LOVE this studio. Great classes, great hours, and lots of variety. I’ve gone with my husband (who’s a newbie), my mom (intermediate) and a good friend who practices level 2 yoga multiple times a week. The Little Yoga Studio can accommodate all levels, and is a welcoming, warm environment. Plus, you can’t beat $ 10 drop ins!

I just found this studio last month and am loving all the classes I’ve checked out thus far. The instructors are professional, approachable and vary in their class styles so you’re bound to find a class you like. The drop-​in price is really affordable and I love that you can share a punch card if you and a friend/​family member want to split the cost of one.
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a more intimate and personal studio than CorePower!
