Went in to see Dr. Tripp in March 2015 to have cataract surgery. Dr. Tripp was amazing which is the only reason I gave 2 stars as opposed to 1. His optometrist Tony is only worth 1 if any. I went in a few weeks back because my frames, that by the way cost a fortune, were loose. So he tried to make right by tightening them, which was sub par at best. He told me if the problem persisted to let them know and since they are warranted for a year they could replace the frame. So fast forward 2 weeks, after getting back from vacation. I call to let them know that they indeed are worse. I also mention that I feel that the lense rx has never been right however wanted to give my eyes time to adjust. So I am told by Tony that my 90 day guarantee on «problem lenses» is over and that he noticed that since I wear my glasses on my head that knocks them out of balance. WTF!!! I never wear them on my head as that is not how I treat a 600 $ pair of glasses. After I inform him of this he gives me a half a$$ apology for thinking of someone else. Well I suppose I am stuck with $ 345 lenses that are the wrong rx. How precious. So after hearing that and how my eyes could have changed and one reason after another, needless to say, I won’t be back! I will find a better place to get decent frames at half the cost or somewhere where they will at least try and rectify the situation after you fork over $ 600.

I went to Dr. Tripp to have cataract surgery. At first he told me to do both eyes, one week apart. Then my retinal specialist told me that I should just do one first and see how it goes. Good thing Ilistened to her, because now I have retinal detachment in the left eye that he performed the cataract surgery on. I wanted to trust a health care professional and wish I hadn’t.
