Very good waitstaff. Tyler was great! The family behind us seemed to be raising their children in a «free range» mode. The toddler was spitting(yes, spitting) crying and throwing things and the family’s answer? Put the kids at another table. Poor Tyler didn’t lose his cool and still proved great service to our table. Ordered the chop chop salad with chicken. So good!

We stumbled upon this place and sat on the patio. Great people watching. I had the fish tacos which were light and tasty. I tasted the chicken sandwich and it had good flavor as well. They have a wide variety of beer and the server made terrific recommendations. Menu is interesting and eclectic. Lovely afternoon!

I loved this place so much. I noticed people complaining about the high prices, but you really are paying for SUCH delicious food so it’s worth it. I’d rather pay more and get more out of the experience. I was also lucky enough to drink the new«Prom Queen Surprise» and it was so good. Our server, Cody, really went above and beyond in his service — SO helpful and accommodating! I have nothing bad to say-it was a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. Mac n cheese is a MUST.

Crazy small portions for BIG $$$ Bucks. The staff was amazing. The place has a great vibe. To pricy even for a resort town.

This place is outstanding!!! We had the pleasure of conversing with one of the owners/brewmaster, Brian, and he didn’t hesitate in taking time out of his busy schedule to talk about the brewing process, and history of not only his career but this brewery! He was such a pleasure to visit with and employees were saying how lucky we were to have him be here while we dined. The IPA was phenomenal and so was the food. My boyfriend got the Cubano sandwich and I got the chopchop salad. We will definitely be coming back this weekend during our trip, as well as making it our new favorite spot when we move into town!

Stopped in after it was recommended by a friend. Food was overpriced, and I was disappointed by my meal. I ordered the chicken and guac burger. Guac was good but chicken was very thin and very dry. Was very unhappy with how slow service was. We were a group of 3 who came in at 1pm on a wednesday. The place was not busy, at all. And it took 2 hours for us to order, receive food, eat and pay. That is far too long for how slow it was. Our server was very rarely present, there would be 30minute periods when we wouldnt see him. Beer was good. But that was the only redeeming quality. Dont go here unless you have plenty of time to kill and plenty of money in your pocket.

Good place to have hand crafted beer. I had the Hoffmeister Pilsner and it was crisp and had a clean finish. It’s better with a lime though. The pretzel balls and the flat bread pepperoni pizza were pretty good. The peppered mustard for the pretzel balls was too much. The flat bread pepperoni pizza tasted like a cheese pizza. Their pepperoni was sliced too thin and had little effect on the pizza. I ordered extra pepperoni and did not see any extra. Service was good. We sat in the bar area and I found it uncomfortable seeing the staff take over the corner table in the area. I ordered the cream brûlée for dessert. It came out ice cold. Management sat with the staff for the entire time. Good beer average food.

I’m in Boulder for a business trip. My coworkers and I, all from different states(IL, MN, and CA) wanted to try something new, delicious and exciting(with good drinks). We decided to go to West Flanders because it has good reviews. I’ll just get to the point. The food was AMAZING. I got the Mac and cheese with shrimp. Oh my. It was like a tiny orgasm in my mouth. So creamy, cheesy and tasty! My coworker got the steak and it was so tender and the veggies were cooked just right. My other coworker got the salmon and the Quinoa was so good(we don’t even like quinoa) as was the salmon, which was seasoned to perfection. But what topped it all was the service by Chad. Chad was personable, funny and gave great tips on the food and drinks. Thank you Chad for the wonderful experience! We will be back!

My cousin and I came to West Flanders as our last stop before heading to the airport after a week long trip in Colorado. The place is situated in a busy shopping strip with lots of restaurants and shops. Nice area and it was pretty busy. I ordered the Italian Flatbread with a side of caesar and an Angry Monk Ale. My cousin order the Eggs Benedict with crispy bacon. She enjoyed hers. Mine was good too, but my only complaint was that the Flatbread should have been cut in squares rather than long slices. It made it hard to pick up each slice without it falling apart. The taste was good otherwise. The Angry Monk was delicious! Service and ambience were good too.

We came here before and their happy hour was pretty impressive, so we returned! They have their own brewery and pretty decent food. They previously had a more generous happy hour menu, but that no longer exists. Now the happy hour discount is $ 2.00 per appetizer. We think their food tends to be healthy and tastes good! During nice weather, you can sit outside with beer and food, and people watch on the mall. Quick and friendly service, lively atmosphere. No complaints!

Stopped in on a pleasant but cool February Sunday. We’d been in once before last fall and had been impressed, and our second trip did nothing to dampen the memory of the first. We both had mac’n’cheese — my ‘shroom-addicted wife the ‘Mac and ‘Shroom’ and the ‘Dirty Mac’ for me, both with tomato bisque soup. The soup was good, but the macs were the stuff of food fantasies. For beers, the lady chose the Angry Monk and the hop-head of the family chose the Mr. Chain Blue Lightnin’ Imperial IPA. She enjoyed hers(and thought it went well with the mac) but me… I was in hop-head-heaven. This is an IPA lover’s IPA! With an IBU rating over 100, if you don’t like IPAs, steer clear. If you do, I guarantee you’ll be back for more. Fun atmosphere with good people watching on the Pearl Street Mall, especially in warmer weather when the doors are open to the small outdoor seating area. The service on both visits was perfect — friendly and attentive without being intrusive. If we didn’t live 50 miles from Boulder, we’d probably be regulars.

Awesome beer, fan-damn-tasting food. Their wings are so good. One of the best imperial ipa ever and damn good Belgians. Food lovers and beer lovers will enjoy. Chicken and waffle brunch, the business!

It’s bad enough when we have a poor service and food prep experience. Then the manager reached out saying she’d send a gift certificate so we could try again and … Never sent it. Bleh. Done with this place and found better purine elsewhere!

My review is just for the beer and service. We were welcomed by friendly staff, tried the 4 beer sampler of generous pours. I really enjoyed the seasonals! The Angry monk, fire lion stout and the recreational porter were delightful! The porter stood out though, for its smokey flavor! They have A great pub brewery eatery vibe, but we only had the beer! Great servers, would stop back, again!

This place was surprisingly good. I wasn’t expecting as much because it wasn’t as busy as the other places on the street. But the joke is on the people who didn’t go into this place because it was a hidden(in plain sight) gem! The French fries satisfied a long standing craving that this California girl had for fries from In-N-Out. They tasted just the same! In the words of my brother-in-law, «the beer is good. The burger is good. I’m happy.»

After a long night, we decided to dust off with a snack and a drink. Lucky for us, we even appeared during the brunch schedule. Usually I’m hit/miss on brunch… This was definitely a hit. The biscuits and gravy were delicious! I was a little skeptical of coffee infused gravy(which I like coffee) but went for it. Great decision. Not too much coffee to make me wish I just had an Irish coffee next to it instead of the great citrus ale. You know, it’s breakfast time Atleast. I also ordered a side of bacon. My god, as a bacon addict, it was everything I hoped for. Ample portion, thick cut, a subtle sweetness. The beer and breakfast paired very well(alcoholic much?!) It’s vacation, there are no rules of what meals are acceptable with a drink. Was also able to try an IPA as well as a sample of a few that my partners in crime ordered. Sound. I’d have liked a little more bite in the IPA, but that’s just my preference. I would go back and eat that damn brunch even if they didn’t serve beer.

I met some friends here that were visiting from Seattle. What a wonderful brewery. I loved the multi-level seating. I ended up eating light and drinking light because I had to drive back to Denver. I ordered a Cesar Salad. The portion size was great and I love that the anchovies came whole on the salad. The bacon they put on there is delicious too. You can never go wrong with bacon though. My friends and I all ordered flights to try different beers. I got a flight of their house IPA’s. The monk was probably my favorite. All the beers were delicious though. I would like to go back when I have more time to walk around after. The brewery is located on Pearl Street so there was much to see while eating and drinking. Their lego display on the bar is worth the trip in alone! :)

Stopped by on a recent visit to Boulder on a rainy afternoon while waiting for a friend, sat at the bar and enjoyed a $ 5 flight of Angry Monk, Wild Citra Session IPA, Mr. Chain-Blue Lightning and Black Immaculate IPA, the place was hopping, beers & service were good. Next visit will stop by & try food, too.

STUPIDSEXYFLANDERS. After walking up and down Pearl Street, I finally ventured in. I was hungry. So I went with what I think was the Bar Burger, Medium well, with onions and bacon, and an order of fries. I couldnt sit upstairs by the patio because a Stupid Bachelor party was there. But oh well. They still tried to appease me with my seat as best as they could, overlooking the downstairs. First beer was a Hefeweizen. Very Delicious. I believe I had two, and I had something with the Name Monk in it. Hoppy but no to overpowering for even me. The burger was delicious. The Service was top notch. I shall be back.
