I need to preface this review by admitting I am NOT a flower expert. But I am a girl. And I am great at basic math skills. 1. There was not a great selection in the front window when you first walk in. It was pretty pathetic actually. A few roses and carnations. Maybe a daisy. And it looked totally uncomfortable surrounded by the mass of carnations. 2. When we asked if this was all they had, the woman working responded a little sharply that, «No. We have more in the back, but you can’t go there.» Um. Okay. Maybe the super-secretive flower garden in the«back» was worth mentioning to us, but the smug, ‘you-aren’t-welcome-in-the-secret-garden’ tone was really unnecessary. 3. The flowers she brought out from the back were these really pretty, two-toned pink roses. We ended up purchasing them because they were much better than anything in the front. When we got home and were trimming them, we noticed some of them were wilting and starting to brown. And even though we purchased two dozen, there were only 21 roses that we trimmed. Now it’s been awhile since my first grade addition, but I remember there being 12 in a dozen. Which means 2 dozen should equal 24… See? Basic math. And taken together, all of these factors add up to one bad review.
