When I walked in a pungent smell of cleaner, liquor, and farts engulfed my senses. I felt like I was in my brothers basement in central Ogden. The beer was cheap, the women were large, and the men were dirty. If you have a can of pepper spray and like strange people you should go.

Meh? This place is pretty alright, but it really is a dive bar. Their prices are great and they have a great selection of beer and liquor, but it can get a little scary in there. It’s considerably bigger on the inside than it would appear, and the bartenders are really nice. We went on a Saturday night and it was only Nine, but the seven or so people in the Bar were noticeably blasted already and no one seemed to mind. I would’ve been one of those people had they not came over to our table and yell at us for a few minutes. Overall, not a bad place, but the management clearly lets their regulars get away with anything. Still worth going to if you like dive bars/are in Bountiful.

I have no idea what this place is like on the weekends. I don’t know if it’s fun, or safe, or popular. My guesses would be yes, no and somewhat. I’m basing this off a visit at 5:45 on a Wednesday while I was in Bountiful to check out a home to potentially buy. The bartender was nice. The patrons seems pretty amiable one with another. Everyone seems a little on the rougher side, biker types. My manicured fingers didn’t fit in too well. But it’s a big joint, plenty of space to get into trouble in. I say if you’re in the area, ain’t nothing wrong with a dive…

Ok, so I’m pretty sure the hosts of the birthday party we were invited to chose this place ironically. Some people say divey, I say white trashy… I would have never gone here on my own, having driven by plenty of times. That being said, we had an absolute blast. Maybe it was the group we were with, maybe it was the whiskey — all I know is the service was good & fast, the regulars were friendly, and the DJ played great music and knew exactly when to put a lame song on so everyone could take a piss break. We danced, played cornhole, and got out of there for $ 21(3 beers &3 whiskeys). I’m a frequent haunter of downtown SLC digs but seriously — so fun! Would definitely return. Well done, ghetto Bountiful bar.

Not a bad place for the dive bar. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Even some of the customers made sure we had a menu and gave us some recommendations. I had already eaten, came here for a beer. Not a lot of choices for draft beer except your basic beer. They did have Blue Moon, so that satisfied me. Ended up having the appetizer sampler. It was actually not too bad. Chicken was a little bit overcooked and the stuffed tater tots were surprisingly good, since I don’t normally eat tater tots.

The majority of the staff is nice, except one woman who worked there was not friendly at all. The temperature was way too hot, but other than that it wasn’t a bad joint!

dive bar is right… and not even a good one… I could expand more, but I like to stay as positive as I can… Let’s just say that the place could be much better than the way it is currently operated. I recommend heading down the street and give The Downunder club a shot. At least the 5−8pm crowed is fun and have no ego…

I defy you to find a better dive in all of Zion. OK, at least in Bountiful. The concentrated clientele of jack-mormons and refugees from the white-bread boredom of the antidepressant-fueled zombies in the Davis County disney-land under the space-fantasy temple on the hill make this place great!
