The Bold Boutique

Use to love, love, love this place when they first opened. Then they started to change their product. My favorite scrub was the harvest moon scrubs they use to have in store. They were a light scent and very effective. When they stopped carrying them I was told that the scrubs in store were the same thing. Not true. Now I order the same scrub from Harvest Moon’s website which is way less convenient. All the scrubs in store now are super potent and fruity. The bar soap that I use to get doubled in price since the remodel and same with the bath bombs. :(

I still absolutely adore this boutique. It’s like a Bath and Body Works /​Charming Charlie /​upscale baby boutique all rolled into one hot pink package. Seriously, this place is the bees knees. I don’t allow myself to come in too frequently because I would be broker than I already am. However, when I find myself with some extra cash, Bold Boutique is the first place on my shopping list.
My favorite items are the homemade soy candles, body products, headbands/​hair clips, and the overstock MAC/​Urban Decay makeup. They even had the Lady Gaga and Hello Kitty MAC lines here, which I’ll be buying to stock up on for gifts.
Make sure to sign up for their email list as well, because they frequently send out coupons or let you know of the new sales. This weekend’s sale was buy one get one free candles and 40% off the handmade soap. They also gave me a free gift which included a votive candle, some handmade mint chapstick and a $ 5 coupon.
It’s important to also note that the customer service is some of the best that I’ve encountered. They are always really friendly and willing to go out of their way to make sure you find what you need.
