Ok well the stars don’t really do this place a fair review because there are ups and downs to it. The Deli inside is GREAT! The sandwiches we got were incredible especially the roast beef. I know a good deli(from NJ) and this place is a hit for Cape Cod. The convenient store portion is a little expensive but you pay for convenience. The lady running the store however was rude at times and not in the least friendly and she was shouting at her kids who were running around the store. The other reviews were dead on in that aspect but in that area you don’t have too much choice for places to stop. If they overhauled their staff they could get a 4 star from me!

CRAZY!!! Melissa C. hit the nail on the head! The Indian/Pakistanian woman was going crazy on her family in there right in front of the front door! I just ran in because we came in and left on the Peter Pan bus which this store is the drop off spot for. Clearly this isn’t an isoloated incident. I just wanted to get out the store and my 4 year old was asking me «Why is that lady so mad?» Unacceptable way to run a business… period.

I painstakingly created this listing, just to be able to review this dump. It opened maybe 1 year ago now?(It used to be a Tedeschi’s) I had very high hopes for this place as they put a lot of work into fixing it up from the store it was prior. Unfortunately, the management here is beyond terrible. Offense #1– So hypothetically if you go on any given Monday-Friday morning, you’ll be ‘greeted’ by a mean, harsh voiced Indian/Pakistani lady who eyes your every step in the store as your shop like you’re some criminal.(Mind you– I am a clean, well employed professional in there on my way to work in the morning). She has always rubbed me the wrong way, and I guess I pegged her as being crazy in my mind(and for good reason). One day I happened to go in for a bottle of water and she was screaming(literally screaming) in Hindi(??) at her family members also working there. The other customers in the store were just kind of looking awkwardly at each other as we all made our way out. They went on for like 5 minutes, screaming at each other at the top of their lungs. Crazy!!! Offense #2– I went in another day to buy the Wall St Journal for Mr. P and they now put into place this ‘new’ rule, purchases must be over $ 10 to use a debit or credit card. Not pay 50 cents or a dollar if its under $ 10 to help pay the transaction fee… nope, no $ 10 transaction = no transaction at all(okay, I don’t have a business degree, but I think that’s not the way to make money…) Mean Indian lady was very firm about this new rule, so I slapped the newspaper on the counter and walked out… all the while mean Indian lady is yelling after me, «Its okay, I’ll make an exception this time!!!» Offense #3– Their new deli. Its disguising. I am vegetarian, and walking into that place and smelling the deli meat makes me want to vomit.
