A good public layout for this area that was in great shape when I played in late May. Beautiful wooded property with a fun mix of holes. I particularly liked 10 – 11, a dogleg par five that plays from an elevated tee way downhill and then back up to an elevated green, and a blind, risk-reward par four where an aggressive tee shot must carry trees on the left. I’ll definitely return(great, well-priced course just a half hour outside of DC is tough to find) but there are a few areas that Enterprise needs to address to become my regular haunt. I saw zero marshals on the course, even though I played on a Sunday afternoon. I didn’t expect to set any pace records, but play was unbelievably slow even though the course didn’t seem all that crowded. I played as a single and was surprised at the lack of a «pace of play» culture among other golfers here – most of the munis I frequent have been preaching mindful golf practices, especially on tees and greens, for years. Hopefully this round was an exception, and I’ll give Enterprise a chance to redeem itself. It would be great if they allowed walkers before 1:00 pm on weekends. The future of golf is not driving carts and drinking beers, and this policy will keep me from becoming a regular here.

Inexpensive, fun course accessible to DC. Short, hilly, and narrow in spots — this course will help you learn to hit the ball straight. It’s where I go when I don’t wanna drive too far and want to work on my fairway woods and iron game. Not a lot of holes for the big stick out here, but the tree-line fairways make it a decent challenge anyway. Course conditions are usually average. Solid, muni course.

I had a completely different experience than Tom D. They really run a tight ship and it’s very well run. We got an early tee time for a friend’s birthday and we only had two players(including myself) and they asked if we could pair up with another player who was playing by himself. We even picked up a player that was playing by himself behind us. All of the golfers on the course were really nice and I was surprised at their friendliness. We teed off quickly and had a nice round. We were surprised that we were running into the group in front of us as we’re not the best of golfers and we spent a good portion of time looking for balls. The course is laid out really nicely and they did a lot of renovating to speed up play. A lot of trees and woods by the holes were trimmed up to open up recovery shots and they really made the course a PGA-style course. Our round took only about 4 hours on a Saturday morning and for the price of $ 48.00(on a weekend including a cart) I will definitely be visiting Enterprise more often for my golf urges. Just a quick note: They don’t allow coolers on the course so if you plan to bring your own water or *cough* beer, good luck trying to get that passed them.

Very nice course with an interesting layout. Stopped playing years ago as it often played at a snail’s pace. We returned to find that they now run 8 minute tee times(down from 9 minutes) without a buffer time per hour, changes that all of the employees were quick to volunteer as a horrible idea. We had an early tee time, but they were already 30 mins behind schedule. 5 ½ hours in and we hadn”t played 17 holes… didn’t finish the round. Will not return.
