Was super impressed with chicken and the fried plaintains. Liked the fried rice and the burritos were on point as well. Price and food quality was everything I could ask for, easy 5 star for me.

My son wanted chipotle but he knew I wasn’t going to go there due to the recent E. coli scare. So, I had to think of an alternative… I love Sardis but I needed something that was closer so I went ahead and tried Lima’s. They’re food is ALMOST as good as Sardi’s. They didn’t skimp on any of the sauces which is a plus. They also offer some chipotle like meals(bowls, burritos and tacos). I always get the family meal(2 whole chickens and six sides… if you ask, they will substitute the 2 liter soda for another side). Overall, Sardi’s is my number one choice. Their sides and sauces taste better. Sardi’s also forces more sides in the container like they’re trying to get rid of the food. However, Limas loosely fills the containers with some space inside.

Lima’s is delicious! I’m so thankful they are in Bowie. This is my go-to place for a quick eat. It’s the fastest food you can get while still staying healthy. The chicken is wonderfully moist and tasty. And the plantains! I crave those like all the time. Best plantains! My fav Peruvian chicken is still Chicken Rico in Baltimore, but this is a front runner. Highly recommended!

Probably the best chicken you can get in Bowie. I’ve been going there for a couple of years and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. They have cafeteria style booths and a big screen TV for entertainment. Good value for your dollar. But it seems like it takes longer than it should to work through the line. By time you order, have your sides portioned out, and pay at the register you wonder why this simple process hasn’t been perfected by them. Perhaps they should study the business model at Chipotle.

So my boyfriend and I went last night and it was not so great. I ordered a cheese steak and it was ok but he fries were cold and half cooked. My boyfriend ordered a half chicken dark meat and he am said it was dry and tasted like white meat… We wasted the food to say the least and just chucked it up as a loss… Smelled right but tasted wrong.

I love Lima’s. This location was no different than the others. This location was much newer than the Odenton/Severn location… Chicken seasoned well as usually. Fried rice… on point. Plantains… Delish.

Wow! This Peruvian chicken dishes are so very delicious. I have been passing this spot up for years; finally decided to give it a try, after work on my birthday. Wow, wow, wow… the meal was so delicious; I had the ¼ chicken with Plantains, rice and black beans; and the yellow sauce on the chicken just topped off the goodness. Most definitely will be returning again real soon.

The food: Not bad. I got the ¼ chicken with fried rice and plantains(my staple whenever I go to these types of places). The service: Really slow for a Thursday afternoon at 1pm when there were only three people(including myself) in line. The young lady ringing up the order seemed a little irritated and short-tempered. The menu referenced what I think was a Peruvian drink so my friend was asking her which one it was and she was huffing/puffing as if we were either annoying or bothering her. The food server however was fairly friendly. Price: It’s quite reasonable considering and the portions were decent.

Great fried plantains, veggies and chicken. The other sides are just decent to me. They only get the 3 stars because the fall in line with every other Peruvian Chicken spot.

Once again Lima’s comes through in the clutch. After driving all day and not being in a mood to cook I had to find food for my clan. Twenty minutes! From order to eating, twenty minutes! And if that’s not reason enough, Lima’s is consistent with the quality of its Peruvian recipe chicken and the kids enjoy it plenty enough. Two sides and a drink with the family meal and the three of us had plenty with leftovers. We were completely satisfied with our order tonight and expect to stay regulars with Lima’s.

How can chicken be this good?!! Seriously. I need to know. I’m not a chicken fan unless there is bacon on it. This is fast food place right? Did I just give a fast food place 5 stars? Yes. Yes I did. There is not much to stay except that if you want a great meal and a great price, you should just go to Lima chicken right now. What is in the green sauce?! It is SOOOGOOOD. SOSPICEYGOOD. I have actually brought it home and put it on everything in my fridge. That didn’t always work out but that was my fault. Anyway, the portions are huge, the hard part is deciding on what delish side you want. I suggest those plantains and green beans, or rice and beans, or fries or… let’s just day, you can’t go wrong.

I don’t understand how you can 2 star a place just because they gave you the wrong utensils and the soda machine was down. You go to a rotisserie for chicken, and there isn’t any better rotisserie chicken that I’ve ever had than the ones they serve at Lina’s in Bowie. The yuca/cassava is legit(it’s supposed to be dry, it’s a massive root vegetable), the mixed veggies are good(aka loaded with butter, salt, and pepper), the plantains are fat and delicious. The skirt steak is hit and miss depending on who is trimming that day, but everything here tastes phenomenal. short version: go get some chicken and be happy.

We decided to kick off our Memorial Day weekend with some banging roasted crispy skinned chicken! We went for lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Lima is located in a strip mall so there’s plenty of parking. We ordered a ½ chicken, green beans, sweet plantains, soda and a inca cola. We decided to try both the green and yellow sauces! All of these goodies feed two for less than $ 18. Boy ohhhh boy… The chicken was really good and seasoned well! We followed Unilocalers and got the green beans, which were good as well. The sweet plantains were nice and juicy and my fav would be green sauce over the yellow sauce. The green suave has a dope onion, spicy kind of flow. The yellow sauce is citrus and mayo based to me. So if you’re looking for great meal that isn’t too harsh on the wallet, then stop in here and get it poppin! I know we will visit again when in Bowie… Enjoy yall.

The service is super fast and the food isn’t short of perfect! The plantains are my favorite, I could eat them all day! The prices aren’t that bad because of how big the portion sizes are, so it’s worth it.

I decided to give this place a shot since carlos and I had to wait for his 3pm appointment. It was a vey clean friendly environment. The staff was great and the food fresh. I got the cheese and chicken sandwich which was big. I could not eat but half of it. Carlos got a ¼ of a chicken white meat. Yuca, and black beans and rice. He loved it. I would recommend this place to everyone.

A pretty good place for Peruvian chicken. It still cant top Mega Chicken in Laurel but they do keep their customers happy and coming back again. Their chicken is their forte by far! I hope that they do jazz up their side dishes a little more to make them more tasty.

I would have give Lima 5 stars if only there sides were better, but I mist say the chicken cheesesteak is to die for. It’s hard finding places that make good chicken cheesesteaks but there’s is the best thus far in the Bowie/Upper Marlboro area. There chicken is really good overall as many has already mentioned. The sides are horrible… I mean there fries are always hit or miss moreso miss there either cold or not cooked all the way. The chicken burrito is full of rice less chicken fyi, so never order that and they added no cheese. Besides all that try the place out and explore the menu just beware of the sides

We were happy to see Lima’s pop up in Bowie. Great chicken – smoking flavor, seasoned to perfection, and moist. They down-fall is their sides are less to be enthused about. They’re horrible and bland. The line can get kind of long and they’re a bit slow. Great for a «take home and add to» meal. Meaning I make a few sides to go along with the chicken. Sauces are good.
