horrible staff that always finds your medical business at their facility funny. I have been going their for ten years and everytime i walk into the bowie office the staff is laughing hard. The medical staff including the office manager is disrespectful to you and our medical records dr brown ignores all complaints about her staff, nurses and other doctors. The nurses here are horrible they probably get paid less money. The nurses know dr brown doesn’t care so they talk to patients however they want. The nurses are horrible about giving negative test results. dr brown is to lazy to make calls to patients on her own. when i stated to her she has to call me she stated.” she better not play phone tag with me” I stated a good time and days to call me. She was no more happy with that either. The staff and dr brown uses the caller id to give you your medical record information and test results. The staff and dr brown use voice recognition to give you your personal medical record information and negative test results. the office manager has insisted for ten years she is allowed in the state of maryland to read a patients test results and answer all questions. I stated she is not allowed to do that in the state of maryland she isn’t licensed too. she stated she works here and has knowledge. she is and has been reported misusing patients medical records. she and this office has been reported to HIPPA, Health Human Services I hope someone does something about the misuse of medical records and patient confidentiality. At one point Dr brown herself(according to her office manager) discussed my medical records with the office manager at a meeting. a dr is not allowed to do this. The medical records are supposed to be medical busines only. Apparently office staff is writing notes in the medical records on how they feel the personality of the patient is. It is my understanding in maryland only a licesned medical professional is allowed to write in medical charts. dr brown lets her non certified and non licensed staff write notes unrelated to medical business in the patients chart. I hope someone is reading this and does something.

I didnt want to leave a bad review, but I wish I would have read the reviews before I went there. If you want to be treated like a #…then this is the place for you. I have so many stories of how this practice has horrible customer service from(1) no return calls to being put on hold for(2) 9 minutes and instead of coming back to the phone, someone hung up the phone. (3) then, when you ask for your medical records to be sent to another practice, they are unavailable to speak with you and have every excuse why it takes so long. Another: the nurses at the hospital kept asking me if «my» doctor came in to see me bc she kept passing my room… well no. She never came into my hospital room to see me at 28 weeks when I was in the hospital. Also, they scheduled a c section for me before my due date when I told them I wanted a trial of labor. I switched doctors and had the best natural birth ON my due date. If I would have stayed with Premier, they wouldn’t even have let me try. Glad we left.

I really hate to give this practice a poor rating. All the doctors are great but the office staff and their ability to handle administrative business is terrible. I am constantly put on hold or phone lines are busy, not to mention inconvenient hours of operation. Paperwork is never submitted even when numerous written requests are given. I received a medical bill that required the office to submit information to cover the claim(it took almost my entire pregnancy to get it taken care of). I eventually had to get it taken care of myself with the insurance company, which I feel is the responsibility of the office. The biggest incident was the busy fax number; relocated to another state and needed medical records sent to me and took literally 30 mins to go through. When I called was unable to get help, was greeted by answering service. Would not recommend this practice to anyone!

Love these doctors but getting increasingly frustrated with office staff and nurses. This is my second pregnancy with them and I never had these issues during the first pregnancy. I cant get nurses or staff to return phone calls and provide information. I am getting worried about aspects of my pregnancy and they are unable to provide me with thw confidence and reaasurance I need at this point. Additionally, if something is awry with test results, I should know asap so things can be addressed and treated properly. I will be switching practices as this lack of communication with patients is unacceptable… especially during pregnancy.

I wish that the Doctors knew what was going on with their front office and support staff. I really like the Dr.‘s but cannot deal with the incompetence of the office. Speficially — call a patient back. If I have called ans said somethhing is not right with my pregnancy and I need to speak to a dr or a nusrse as soon as possible, dont you think, someone should call you back. This was the straw that broke the camels back. Many minor issues had me doubting thier abitilites to work cooperatively. Figures that I would have to pay for my records to be transferd to another Dr.‘s offfice and they have yet to do it !!! How many phone calls does someone hve to make before a simple task is completed. Like I said the Dr’s are great — all very personable but I refuse to out my health — especially my pregnancy in the hands of a so called professional team that has no sysytem in place to handle patients. Find another practice — you’ll be glad you did.
