My rating is actually a negative 10. I also bought a deal through Living Social. I had a similar experience as the other reviewer Samantha. They did not have an opening come to my house before the I deal expired. I was told they would honor the deal even after the expiration date. They sent me a form to fill out with my requests, I filled it out and emailed it right back but after that I not a word! I just get a voice mail when I call. I send emails and no one emails back to me.
I have been happy with Living Social deals and how they resolved issues in the past. Now LivingSocial is not being helpful because the deal has expired so no refund is available.
I am sorry I did not check Unilocal website before I bought the deal. Lesson learned!

I purchased a special with them on Living Social in July 2012. I went to schedule an appointment and they had a backlog of jobs. I was told to submit to them my information with a date of possible service… which I did and have yet to hear back from them. I have contacted them 2 – 3 times to follow up with my request and they have not been responsive. My last contact with them I was told that the owner, Marlene, would contact me and yet the person on the phone could not take down my number. When I responded with filing a complaint to BBB, she hung up the phone.
I agree with the Patti S… STAY AWAY! It’s sad that you can’t support small businesses.
