CLOSEOUT SALE UNTIL DECEMBER!
Well, it’s going out of business in December, so until then other Stride Rite stores will be using it as an outlet store. Everything is currently 50% off and staff informed me that the discounts will continue to get better the closer it gets to December.
We’d come in here previously and the employees were helpful. But the prices– oy vey! I get that they’re nicer shoes than you’ll get at Target but if my toddler goes up a size every 3 months is it worth it for his age group? Probs not. But now that things are 50+% off, it’s a more legit choice. There are different levels of shoes, so some will only cost $ 10 with the discount, while other shoes that were $ 70 are now $ 35. The pricier shoes are in Stride Rite’s «Medallion Collection» which admittedly are very nice shoes. We got a pair for our son as church shoes because they’re nice enough to double as semi-​formal footwear or dressy casual play shoes
Now here’s an impressive tidbit. Even though the place looked like Black Friday inside (people hording shoe boxes in popular sizes and boxes jammed all in piles where customers rifled through them), two employees kept checking on us, measured our kids’ feet, helped find shoes in their sizes, and checked the toes to make sure they were the right fit. So props to them for not going, «This is cray-​cray, you lunatics can find your own freaking shoes.» On the contrary, they were professional in a really frenzied environment. So we’ll keep checking back through December and maybe get some shoes for the next few sizes we’ll hit.
And please, don’t be all nuts if you go here. The employees will help you get what you need (if it’s in stock), so no need to be throwing boxes asunder. Srsly.
