Went in on Mother’s Day for an emergency haircut(don’t ask.) every chair was full. An employee politely informed me that they were closed today. I looked at that full chairs and people getting haircuts, looked back at the employee. «Is that so?» I said, motioning to the chairs. The employee repeated himself politely. I shrugged and left, but became curious. I sat in my car and watched a half dozen patrons come in and leave with haircuts. I don’t know what to make of it, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck. The only difference between me and the other patrons? Ethnicity. Call it what you want, but I feel I was discriminated against today. Hopefully I’m wrong and it’s just a big misunderstanding.

Always fun & laughs at TightnUp. Clint Sr. the owner is a good friend of mine going back to high school. They take walk ins & appointments. All the barbers are more than capable of taking care of you. One day Clint wasn’t there & I just walked in without an appointment, so another young man stepped up & had me lookin good. I was impressed because I don’t like just anyone cutting my hair. You won’t find any loud cursing, disrespectful conversation or foolishness other than the normal shop humor here(thank God!). Check them out!

I love this barbershop. The guys do great work. My brother has a disability and they have always been patient with him and other people with disabilities that I’ve seen in the shop. They are affordable and I would recommend them to other people.

Damien is a very good barber. I went there last week to get my son’s hair cut but he’s gone. Does anyone know where he’s cutting now?

Went here on a limb because I didn’t feel like cutting my own hair that day, and I was actually pleased. Being from CA so finding a good barber isn’t hard, pretty much every barbershop you walk into you’re safe with a good cut. There has been times I’ve walked into a black barbershop out here and got stray looks as if I was crazy, and even times where they purposely messed up my hair but everyone here was real chill. I went to Damien and he’ss real chill, as are all the other barbers. I noticed there’s some younger people who come here but that there are also families that go here as well. A lot of the barbers are up in age so it isn’t some young buck barbershop. So yeah I’ll be back. $ 17 for a regular haircut, Whatever that means? and $ 20 for a fade.

The shop promotes a family friendly environment and diverse clientele base. Barbers are courteous and attentive towards their customers. I never had any issues with a walk in or appointment. Prices for services are reasonable and a clean restroom. My barber Jorge always gives me a fresh cut.
