Riley’s Bakery

I ordered a graduation cake, on very short notice and they did a wonderful job. The cake was decently priced and very well made.

Cinnamon rolls of the gods, tea biscuits to cry for, and pimiento cheese sandwiches of glory. Love love love.

You can smell the sugar and deliciousness even before you step foot in the door. Some of these items aren’t the healthiest of course, but just an amazing bakery. Surprising enough one thing that is really good there as well are the sandwiches! Can’t wait to make it back to Riley’s-it was delicious!

Grew up on Riley’s, always stop in when I am back in town. Thumbprint cookies are always outstanding. In this day of everything having to be «gourmet», it’s refreshing to step back into a simpler time. Blondies and brownies always a treat.

I have tried this place three times over the last few years and I want to like them, but I just can’t. I have tried bread, cookies, and cupcakes and everytime they taste old and stale. Maybe I just happened to get them on a bad day each time, but I won’t be going back to find out. The service was always very friendly and fast though.

This is a great local bakery. I have not tried the birthday cakes, but have heard they are good. I’m hesitant to recommend something I haven’t tried, so will tell you what I have tried. The cream horns melt in your mouth. They are great. Other items I’ve tried — thumbprint cookies, pecan pie, and chess pie. All have been delicious. They have a huge variety of wonderful items. I love to just go in and look! The only small issue I have, which has absolutely nothing to do with their bakery items, is I wish I could go in and have a menu item and a cup of coffee. I have to buy my item then go home and make my own coffee. It would be more of a treat if I could sit there and have it. Again, this has nothing to do with how wonderful this bakery is, so give it try!
