We found the place to get real Japanese in Bowling Green, and this is it. I felt comfortable ordering Chirashi(rice bowl with sashimi) and was well rewarded with good quality fish and properly steamed rice. Delicious! The nigiri sushi is a bit on the expensive side, sold by single pieces rather than in the more traditional pairs, but the quality was there and it was well put together. I don’t get as irritated about paying for quality. Nothing fell apart before I could shovel it into my mouth with the chopsticks. I will definitely come back. I was reluctant, since my experiences with Japanese food in Bowling Green have not been stellar. In this instance, I’m happy to report that I was pleased with food and service here. It wasn’t perfect, the miso soup was watery and the tempura was weird(like done with reg flour or something, couldn’t really put my finger on what was wrong with it, it was just wrong). But it is a very rare place that gets everything right, and I’m willing to try more of their dishes. Its a really good place to go for any occasion you can think of, go try it.

Good sushi, seemed fresh and had good flavor. The spicy tuna roll had too much cucumber in it for my taste, but still good. Also had the Tony roll which is along the line of a rainbow roll. Also very tasty.
