Western Kentucky University

Nice place. I was here recently for my cousin’s graduation. A lot bigger campus than I thought it was.

What can I say? I’m biased. Western Kentucky University is my alma mater.
WKU has arguably one of the most beautiful campuses you will encounter. It’s a friendly campus too. People greet one another as they walk up and down The Hill, as is our Southern custom.
WKU is also home to the world’s greatest mascot, BIG RED, star of stadium and screen. No doubt you’ve seen Big Red on a commercial or two.
WKU has been growing by leaps and bounds in recent years. More students, new programs, new campus facilities. WKU is know for its excellent Journalism and Broadcasting, Education, Engineering, and Business departments. You may have seen Claire Donahue, 2011 aluma, medal in the 2012 Olympics.
WKU is beautiful, affordable, not-​too-​big, friendly and I would not have traded my experience there for anything.
