Beautiful mill which has a beautiful park attached to it and pretty, babbling brooks running through the property. Enjoy lunch while sitting at one of their picnic tables next to the water!

Even though this mill was closed for the winter, it was still nice to check the mill out. It was located off of Tannery Lane, and it was pretty cool to learn that this mill is one of the oldest, most original operational grist mills in the country. Built around 1785, it was cool to appreciate the structure, the workings, as well as the quaint-ness of it! There was also a little bridge that you can walk over the little stream. A nice attraction to stop by if you’re in the Boyce area! +operational grist mill

The Mill is only part of the Millwood experience. Twice a year, in spring and fall, the mill is converted into an art gallery for Art at the Mill. This is a must do event. The folks are nice, proceeds go to good causes, and there are a few gems to be found. Try packing a lunch and heading out to the country. Better yet, pick something up at Locke Country Store, directly across the street. This is a great way to spend a spring or fall day!

Very cool, very old mill — right across the street from the Locke Store. You can tour the place, buy Apples, Apple cider, picnic out back, and enjoy the water cascading down through the Mill via the small stream that feeds the place.
