(02/26/2012) We got a log of the Chipotle Goat Cheese, to build a goat’s milk cheese plate, from a small city market that is known for selling high quality, small production, artisinal food products. Have had the Monocacy Ash before at several restaurants in the area and at home. Always find it tangy and complemented by the alkaline bitterness of the ash. The Chipotle was somewhat disappointing. There were several«stinky cheese» eaters in the group, a few novices, and some chipotle hounds; not one person found the Chipotle goat to be edible. It had a slightly ripened rind, didn’t really taste of chipotles, and was somewhat off-putting flavor, definitely funky. We will def try other cheeses from Cherry Glen, but wouldn’t get the Chipotle again.
