Great service .So refreshing with all the big box stores these days to actually get some service

These guys saved my bacon when I dropped important keys STRAIGHT down a drainage grid. This was ONLY the third time in my life that this has happened to me.(I know, for most people, it would be the first time, but welcome to my life. Yep, three instances in three different states.) In pulling one set of keys from my front pocket in the dark morning, I heard that awful«clink» maybe 10 feet below. It was too dark to actually see the keys down in the drain, but I knew, just knew what had happened. After I accepted the reality that I should probably only live in places with no drainage pipes(like AZ), I called Parsons and explained my predicament. It was like talking to one of my dear, old uncles. «Yes, come on down, we can help you.» I know this is not rocket science, but when you’re feeling like — -«What ELSE can go wrong?!» it feels super good to feel like things are getting much better and getting much better right away. I received a friendly, calming greeting at Parsons and left with a super magnet, a few yards of free twine to fish the dang keys out with, and a large, bright key chain too big to fit through any drainage grate. Parsons turned my day around and I can’t recommend this small, high-level customer service store strongly enough.

Going to this store for years and it gets better and better. I’m always impressed with their customer service. This is important to me since at many larger stores you need to hunt for someone to help you. Their always ready to help you find what you need. Fairly well stocked overall and prices are competitive if you value your time too. Lastly, I lost my wallet there recently and they called me up that they had it. Honesty??? How much value do you place on that? To me it’s priceless. They are worth my business.

Extremely over priced. Everything is about double of a normal hardware store. Nice people but only worth buying small amounts in a must have quickly situation.

How do you get any better than this? This is small town, friendly service with Extremely knowledgeable sales associates. Equally welcome if I purchase only one obscure nut and bolt. My whole family loves going into Parsons Hardware, and the popcorn is free to kids. Just feels good.

Parsons is always top notch with customer service, whether I’m buying a bunch of stuff or just one little thing. They always know where everything is and never make me feel odd when I try to describe what I want /need. They are my go to hardware store and the only place I refill my bbq propane tank. Small town at its best.

So helpful. Staff(young lady) went out of there way to help me find the right screw to mount my tv, an outlet converter… like $ 3 worth of hardware and they still made me feel like I really mattered to them. Much better than an OSH that always has too much stuff and Target-like employees. Parson’s is great!

I love supporting our local businesses and I shop Parsons whenever I can. They almost always have what I need, the staff is friendly and helpful, and their prices are competitive. Best of all, I can walk there from my house. Last year I needed a tool for a ‘once only’ job and the man behind the counter(I think he’s the owner) let me borrow the tool. That is what you call«a neighborly business».

Great service two times in a row, went in with a problem that seemed like it would be too hard to fix and they surprised me and helped get the parts to fix it. They also do keys and are really good at explaining how to fix things thanks

Parsons is an old-fashioned hardware store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If they don’t have what I’m looking for, they always know where to go. Most recently, I spent an entire afternoon searching big box stores for a vacuum belt replacement, without finding what I needed. I popped into Parsons and 30 seconds later had exactly what I needed, at the same price the manufacturer listed on their website.

My favorite hardware store in Town. When I lived in Sonoma always good service friendly and helpful. When I visit my Daughter in town last week and they were very helpful in getting replacement parts needed in the kitchen and they were great at finding what we needed. Highly recommend this store much better then any Home depot I have been to. Staff Is helpful and courteous! Gary will treat you right!

Always helpful, good supply for locals. I love this hardware store. Also, we recently bought our patio furniture here, & it had a defect which they were happy to return and replace right away.

I’m unhappy with the lack of customer service from the staff. They had attitudes with me in regards to a bench that was supposedly for sale outside. When I asked if I could purchase the bench, they gave me attitudes about it being sold already. There were no signs anywhere on it that showed it was previously sold. When I asked them if I could order one at the same price, they gave me even more attitude and said no. It’s too bad that they are snotty because I’m building a house and would have given them a ton of business. Im sure because they monopolize the hardware needs for this side of the valley that they don’t care about getting my business!

Wow, I don’t know what happened to cause the prior reviewer to rate Parson’s so poorly; I have always found Parson’s staff to be helpful and courteous. The store is a bit cramped, but they have a pretty good stock of hardware. Parking can sometimes be a bit«tight,» since their off-street parking isn’t that big, but it’s usually not a serious problem. My one complaint is that although Parson’s has huge«Ace Hardware» signs, they will NOT accept the Ace Hardware gift card. It turns out that their non-electronic cash registers are not equipped to process such cards, so too bad if you received one as a gift and wanted to use it; not at Parson’s Lumber and Hardware.
