Awesome skate shop in Boyle heights, unique & fresh! Workers/boss man are the best and super friendly. They always have cool events going on, and seem to be fully stocked with all the good skating necessities!

I’m in my 40’s and been riding a long board for a while. I decided I wanted to try a regular street board out. I tried a couple shops but no one seemed interested in helping me. I was near Boyle Heights and found Mainline so I figured I’d give it a try. I walked in and was greeted by the manager(Jesse, I think). I told him what I wanted and that I don’t know a lot about street boards. He immediately said, «I’ve got the perfect board for you.» He pulled out a board by Chocolate that I instantly loved. He helped me pick out trucks, wheels, bearings, and hardware, and assembled the board in minutes. A lot of shops all carry the same stuff. The difference is people who work there. This location at Mainline instantly gives you a good vibe when you walk in. I’m in the Valley and I’ll definitely drive back down to Boyle Heights next time I need anything skateboard related. Thanks, Mainline!

Core skate shop at its best, I was skating at hollenbeck park and my bearing broke. luckily the shop is right next to the park so i was able to pick up a set of bones reds. the guy working there was even nice enough to rethread my trucks for free.
