I have had Atlas for more than seven years. They have their pros and their cons. Pros is that they get there in a reasonable amount of time. Ask for Amber — she is nice. Cons — I assumed hot water was covered for replacement. It cracked yesterday. I was told I diid not have coverage for replacement when I thought I did. Told its additional for this coverage. Nobody told me this when doing the agreement. Another con is on the day that Atlas was called, they sent somebody out for the leaking hot water heater past 4. The Atlas guy turned off the water for the whole condo instead of using the water supply valve just before the hot water heater. My tenant had no water until they returned to replace the water heater. Hot water heater fixed today. Good turnaround time. Atlas tells me I need to pay Cash on Delivery though /no credit card unless I pay an addtional 3. I explain I have been with them for more than seven years and I am out of state. I am pretty sure it’s against the law to charge extra to pay by credit card. Atlas would not budge. A few years ago, I needed a new air handler that ended up costing me $ 700 in fees that was not covered. I do not remember a 3% charge. The 3% credit card fee left a bad taste in mouth besides having nothing at all covered with my warranty. The truth is the 3% is what motivated me to write this review today. And 3 stars is what I give them. Advice — go over the contract /agreement in detail. Also, Home Depot will fix water heaters the same day if you call by noon. HD will also beat prices by 10%. They are reachable after 5pm. Another con, Atlas has no emergency number after 5pm.

To Whom it may Concern: I have not, nor have I ever been, employed by Atlas. Your comment is as inept as your company’s service. It is also typical of my experience with your company and as a dissatisfied customer. Besides I am obviously not alone in this opinion. Below is just a sample of recent scathing poor reviews and complaints regarding your company: If you spent as much time trying to improve service as you do attacking the credibility of the customer, I am confident glowing reviews would be plentiful.

I have called and the office was rude or uncooperative but then I asked to speak to someone else and the 2nd person was great. He created a service work order and the mechanic always shows up on time, knowledgeable, and always friendly. I only call them when my attempts to fix the problem fail. 4 stars go to the mechanics Have & will continue recommending Atlas to everyone I know.
