Sad to hear this place closed. Several years ago, the staff at Carlton Cards went out of their way to find me a set of Papyrus boxed Christmas cards that was on super-​sale after New Years. They were very friendly and helpful.

Since Hallmark was on the other side of the mall, I didn’t feel like walking since I already had enough at work that day and I was in a lazy mood from the yucky weather outside. I came in here because I had to get something for Chris for Valentine’s Day. The holiday is way overrated and we don’t go overboard on it since we show that we love each other throughout the year (yea, really!). There is a nice selection of cards and cute items for all occasions and they had items marked half off for the holiday too. Most stores will do that after the holiday is over. Imagine how much business it would get if it happened all the time.
