This program is a joke. They are very young and have only been around for 3 years. If participants question any of the literature being given or anything that is taught, the owner Andre will not have it. Speaking of the owner, a recovering addict(only 6 years sober), who has no verifiable credentials, leads a group that he refers to as «my boys» on the journey of recovery. I wouldn’t quite call it that, his pompous know it all attitude only gives room for people to recover the way he sees fit, I.e. Brainwash. I wouldn’t recommend this program to anyone who may still have some sense of self. If you are so low that you cannot function, you can go here or the military as both offer brainwash and structure however neither prepare participants for integration back into the world. A «former» addict that finishes this program is only prepared for repeating 12 steps for the rest of their lives, instead of living the rest of their lives in sobriety. Use your insurance wisely pick a program that will not just host participants in nice weather and bill their providers.

This treatment center is amazing! It is obvious just from talking on the phone to some of the staff members how much everyone cares about my father. He is definitely not the easiest person to talk to, but no matter what, everyone is there for him, challenges him anyway they know how and most importantly never gives up on him. Before deciding on Into Action for my father, I called a bunch of different places and everyone said«30 days», which I knew was definitely not enough! But Into Action has no max and Andre was available to talk about everything we needed whenever we needed. He really seemed to care and that meant so much to me. My dad has now been there for about a month and I got to see him for the first time during family weekend. The weekend was very well organized and had speakers just for family members that really got you thinking… Not just about the addict. It was nice to see the different support groups my father gets to be a part of and really helped to listen to stories of recovering addicts. It really gave me hope! Thank you Into Action sooo much for everything you have done for us so far… I know that my father is in great hands and is well taken care of.

So I worked with the staff here during the opening stages of the company, and it was a great experience. I think the general vibe of the place was positive, genuine, and productive. People come here to get serious work done during their recovery process and being that most of the staff has been through recovery themselves that were really able to mentor the new comers and help them quickly acclimate to the environment. This is not a big mega complex recovery center but they really use the intimacy to their advantage here. The counselor to patient ratio was very good here. The centers recovery model is the Big Book Step Study program so if you are interested you can google that to learn a little bit more on what that encompasses
