Intracoastal Jet Ski Rental

Great day, great location. Reasonable price. They do not take reservations, so first come first serve. We came in the morning, and had no issues. Nice family owned and operated. We would come back next time in Florida.

We had a great time renting Waverunners here. Derek was very helpful and got us on the water quickly. If you follow their instructions and treat the equipment with respect you will have a great time without issues.

Best time of our lives! Jet ski’s don’t have governors on them and clock out at 60 mph.

Rented a boat for the day and had an issue with the boat during our journey. The boat would not go more than 9 mph, we were honest and called the boat house and they told us we would make it back ok. After returning, the owner accused the broken part on us (specifically the prop). We did not not hit anything and stayed in the canal. How do we know the part wasn’t broken before we left? Being charged for the «accidental damages» without a thorough inspection of the prop part. How do we know he is a boat mechanic? I would not suggest renting from this business. Not worth them having your credit card on file.

These guys were very helpful and accommodating. I made a reservation for a specific boat of theirs. Unfortunately, the day before the rental day, they called me to tell me that another renter had left the boat out of commission for my day and offered a smaller boat. I know boats and understand that happens sometimes. I asked if I could let them know in the morning whether I’d take it, and they said that’d be okay. Unfortunately it didn’t’ work out for me this time, but I definitely recommend these guys and I’d rent from them another time.

We gave a credit card with authorization for a $ 500 deposit.
We rented jet ski’s and had an accident. I had every intention of paying for damages. My credit card was charged $ 7300 on the spot without authorization. This amount is more than the jet skis were worth and the damage was minimal. There was no basis for this estimate and they managed to charge this amount to my card (which had a $ 3500 limit) by entering a $ 500 authorization and then using that code to force the $ 7300 transaction through.
Very unethical business practices. Additionally, there was no instruction on operating the jet ski, only on speed in the wake zones. Hence, the key instruction that the throttle (gas) was required in order to turn the jet ski was not given. If this instruction were given, the accident would have been avoided.

Helpful, friendly staff. Decent rates, with discounts on additional hours. The watercraft were in good operating condition, and there are about 15 miles of water with only one small no-​wake zone. Near the inlet is the best place (north of the rental facility) with large boats coming in and out with nice wakes to jump. Beware the police, we were pulled over due to the registration number on the boat being too faded.
