Called for a delivery on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Staying in a hotel just up the street so I wanted to confirm they would deliver. This clearly annoyed girl on the phone kept asking for my name over and over again. I had to repeat myself 4 times just trying to get my phone number & location across; very obvious that she was paying attention to something else. Last straw broken when she unceremoniously announced she was putting me on hold to answer another call then hung up on me. How’s the food? No idea, and with service this despicable I really don’t care.

I don’t know what happened to this place but … awful! Ordered pizza and the woman who answered was very rude. When the pizza arrived the cheese had completely slipped off. Called to complain and they were not very responsive. Haven’t given they a second try after this experience because it was so bad

Decided to try the place tonight. Went by about 6:00 and, despite being smack in the middle of their open hours, they were closed up tight. No sign on the door, no lights on inside — just inexplicably closed. They didn’t look like they were out of business, though. We’ll try them again someday, but for a restaurant to just be closed when they’re supposed to be open, with no explanation to customers, doesn’t sit well. Rating 3 stars just to be average — I don’t really have a point of reference. (Edit — I have since learned that they’re closed for vacation. The sign must have blown away or something. Will try again next week.)

I have tried to eat there twice in the last five years. Neither time has an employee approached the table within five minutes. Both times the restaurant was nearly empty and both times we just got up and left. I have no idea what the pizza is like. I suspect the ratings are the result of friends but not a cross section of random people.

Read the previous reviews and decided to place our family order. We are visiting relatives. Our take out dinner exceeded our expectations. The pizza was delicious, the pasta and eggplant dishes were very tasty. The rolls were unbelievable. The portions were very generous. This is a place not to miss for pizza and pasta. One suggestion, leave a take out menu for future ordering.

I saw the sign for the Thursday deal which is an all you can eat pasta for $ 7.99. It comes with dinner rolls and a salad. They brought out the rolls and the salad first and by the time my pasta came out, i was full. I had the penne with vodka sauce which was good and also tried the Alfredo sauce my friend ordered. That was good as well. This is a great deal and I’ll be back to try their other items especially the zeppolis. They also sell slices. The décor was pretty amusing. It was a wall mural of seaside heights in NJ with famous people. James gandolfini, Jack Nicholson, and then there’s Snooki. Hahaha!!!

All I had here so far was a slice of pizza and cherry ices. Both were pretty good. There was of course a big Jersey attitude which is expected but, whatever. Its hard to find a good slice so if you are in the area and want to eat a reasonably good piece of pizza, this will do. Its better than Dean Anthony’s down the road, which used to be real good but no more. You cant go wrong.

I wish i could tell u about the food but the service was so unbelievably AWEFUL that we left before we even ordered. I should have had an indication when on a Friday night the place is dead — there was I family sitting at a booth being attended by a young blonde waitress that thinks its ok to slam things and roll her eyes when she is asked for something. Its not like she was busy since there was only myself and another table in the whole place. This restaurant is a joke and its only a matter of time and it will be out of business. Mr. Jersey Pizza you can thank your waitress for contributing to your loss.

I decided to eat here this evening because of Unilocal reviews. Thank you Unilocalers! We just did pepperoni pizza but it was delicious. We will be back and we will be more adventurous with our order next time.

I had overlooked this Pizzeria(next to Blockbuster) in the last few years because I had thought it was still the old pizzeria(I can’t even remember the name of it). The old pizzeria was overpriced for poorly made pizza… However I popped in with a few friends of mine from NY. They wanted good and LOCAL pizza, so I looked up Unilocal for suggestions in my area. Jersey Johnny’s was on the top 5 list for Boynton Beach’s pizza. I was a little hesistant, but was open to the idea since I noticed it wasn’t the old pizzeria. 2 of my friends had large slices of their pepperoni pizza and raved about it. One had a prosciutto wrap and he also raved about it. I had the Chicken Buffalo sub with their hottest wing sauce(I LOVE hot sauce) and it wasn’t THAT hot as they claimed though… lol but I loved it anyway. My friends sampled it and thought it was really good(they’re from NY and they’re «experts» in wing sauce). I will definitely come back!!! Great Job Johnny’s for taking over the old place!

Locally owned pizza shop with tons of options and great daily specials. The owner is so nice and very personable when I come in to get my take out orders(they deliver as well). Their pizza is the best I have found in the Boynton/Delray area. I have tried a slew of other dishes and all of them have been good. Their eggplant dishes are SO yummy, too. I am assuming the ricotta they use is homemade because it is out of this world. Cannolis are freshly filled, crisp, and delicious. If you want pizza and can’t find something that is super fresh and delicious, look no further. Jersey Johnny’s has got you covered!

We have only picked up food from Jersey Johnny’s and typically it has tasted good. This time we had one pizza delivered it took 1 hour and 56 minutes(yes, two hours!) and showed up cold. The price on the online menu says $ 12.50 and somehow we paid $ 14.75. heads up!

Great fresh ingredients, good customer service– good value. I was a little wary after reading some of the reviews, since I was ordering delivery… but I was pleasantly surprised. I’m still on a quest to find the best pizza in South FL, but this was definitely worth trying– and I’ll have it again. We had the Margharita, and it was covered in a nicely spiced sauce, topped w/fresh mozzarella slices and basil. The sauce was definitely better than most of the places in the area– and the quality of the toppings won’t disappoint even the most discerning critic.

I originally posted a review on Jersey Johnny’s. I gave them 1 star not for their pizza, but for their pricing. We originally ordered two pies of pizza(one of them was their specialty pie and the other was a plain cheese pie) the total was $ 50! Needless to say I cancelled. Can’t see myself paying $ 50 bucks for two pies of pizza no matter how good it is! The owner reached out to me and convinced me to try their pizza again, which I did. I gave them a 3 star this time around simply because their customer service is really good! Businesses can’t afford to treat their customers like crap and assume they will gain great clientele… won’t work. Jersey Johnny’s cares about their customers, BUT their pizzas are STILL too expensive. I’m from NY… Just came back from vacation and had great NY style pizza in Central Park and STILL paid slightly less than Jersey Johnny’s charged me. They have to consider their location and demographics in the area before they set their price on their menu. It can turn people off. My second time going there I ordered 3 pies of pizza and with tax it almost came out to $ 60 and change… You’re not in NY anymore… you’re in Boynton Beach FL. Revise your menu so you can keep your customers coming back. Your pizzas are good and I would hate for you guys to lose business because of your pricing… Just a thought.

Honestly, I don’t know what the other reviewer was talking about. I have now been back three times and had something different each time. Although, I always order the meatballs… I am from the New York area and these are the best meatballs I ever had! And the strombolis… to die for. Crispy and stuffed with fresh ingredients. The only thing I can think of is that PB C must work for a competitor somewhere! John brought out a new dessert tonight — cannoli cream stuffed zeppoles — a sure winner. Absolutely worth a visit!!!

Soggy pizza, dry pasta anyone? I gave this place three chances. The food seems as if it was prepared in a rush, with little effort. Even after you tell them what was wrong the first time, they’re too busy flirting with the only girl working in there, to get it right. This girl can’t even talk an order without the peanut gallery all over her. Don’t ask for a small, they will give you a large, and charge you for it. They should pay a little more attention to detail and putting some love and care into the product. The food is terrible, and I feel like I tossed 30bucks in the garbage tonight. They won’t be around for long.
