Lowe’s Home Improvement

This review is in regards to the carpet and installation. The guy who I dealt with in the flooring department was helpful. This was my first time buying carpeting so there we many steps to the process that I wasn’t aware of. First, we paid a deposit for someone to come out and measure so they could give us a quote. Did that. Then the measuring guy called a couple days later to schedule. He came out and measured. He was super nice and was done when he said he would be which got me to work on time. He said he would send Lowes the info That night then they would call me with a quote. Two days later (Saturday) I called lowes and they said they hadn’t received it yet and wouldn’t get anything till Monday but he promised he would follow up for me. Monday I called and they had the quote. Went in and paid right away. He said I should get a call from the installers in a couple days which I did. They called and said they could come out the next day to install which was awesome! They guys came and worked right through lunch and got the carpet done. The installers did an excellent job and were super professional. Other than lack of communication between the contractors and Lowes, it was a great job.

After a disappointing visit to Home Depot across the street (I left a review), we crossed our fingers and went across the street to Lowe’s hoping for at least some help. And man, did we get it! From the moment we walked in, friendly and willing to help employees offering assistance. Complete opposite of HD. I wanted to cry. I couldn’t have asked for nicer experience, and that made all the difference. We needed a piece of wood cut. After 40 minutes of waiting at HD at what seemed like a place where all the rude, lazy and useless employees go to die, we finally got what we needed, at Lowe’s!!! Before we even had a chance to look around for assistance, Dave approached and got the job done in seconds! He was so nice and helpful, it made our day. And it didn’t stop there, all the departments we went to, had friendly staff greeting us and asking how they can help. Amazing! Thank you Lowe’s.

I had a great experience with one of the flooring specialists named Lenny. He was more than personable, experienced and very knowledgeable about hardwood flooring. We went back several times to look at samples and being our indecisive selves ended up with the help of Lenny choosing a laminate floor design that we just love! I’ve experienced ugh better customer service at Lowe’s (multiple locations) than other major hardware stores. I have no idea if Lowe’s trains their employees differently or just hires some top notch people but I’ll probably never go back to another hardware retailer again. Their prices are very competitive and all their staff welcomes and greets everyone all the time. Long story short this review is for the spectacular service provided to my wife and I from Lenny in the flooring dept. At the Boynton beach woolbright road location.

This is a complaint about the Service Contracts that Lowes sells for their washing machines. We purchased a four year maintenance agreement for our new washing machine, last month three months before it expired we had a problem with our machine, we called for service and Lowes sent out a company called Masco Appliance Repair in Ft Lauderdale.
It took a week for them to come out to the house, the guy was driving his own pickup truck and the only tools he had was in a bag, he carried no replacement parts, it then took 2 weeks for the part to arrive, that’s 3 weeks with no washing machine, I don’t know why a large company like Lowes contracts out with such a fly by night repair company, I will never purchase a contract again for repair.

This review is specifically for Pia our kitchen designer. What a great and personable designer, excellent customer service and product knowledge. We brought measurements and Pia did an excellent job of meeting our needs. Lowes has an great selection of cabinets to choose from. The only downfall is their selection of granite is very limited and we did not find a pattern we really liked. Prices were comparable to Home Depot, however, attitude and professionalism of the designers is much better at Lowes.

Each time that I have been to this location, the staff has been incredibly helpful and knowledgable. I found that their prices are comparable to the other major local hardware stores (Home Depot). I really liked their tile section as well.
I think they have a larger selection. Overall, this place is clean and efficent.

This is your typical Lowe’s. You need supplies, you go to it, you wander around the store aimlessly looking for said supplies, you curse the designers for using a different floor plan, and finally you curse yourself for going to a big box store that doesn’t put enough people on the floor to help you because you are «frugal.»
At least when an associate is found, they are nice.
