Ordered on a night we were in the mood for Chinese food. It came in less than 20 minutes(I live right down the street) and every single thing was delicious! I ordered the chicken and broccoli with brown rice and my boyfriend ordered sesame chicken with fried rice. I also ordered an egg drop soup. I’m picky with egg drop soup and I really loved theirs.

First off, you must know, I love Chinese food so much, I eat it at least once a week! It’s really crazy how much Asian food I can consume, and never get tired of it. I will pull-over and buy at least one dish from almost any Chinese restaurant I pass-by, just to test it out. That’s how I discovered Lucky’s one afternoon, out shopping on a Saturday. I always test them with my go-to dish, beef with mixed vegetables, extra spicy. You may think that’s an easy dish, and why that one. It’s not an easy dish to prepare to my liking. I want my sauce spicy, and plentiful to absorb into my rice, my vegetables firm and not overcooked. If a place can prepare this to perfection, they usually are a safe beat, and I will try them again. I’ve been getting my take-out from Lucky’s for the past 7 years. The location is perfect if you’re in the Boynton Beach area. It’s 3 minutes from the mall, and 3 minutes from the beach. They’re just off of I-95 on Boynton Beach Boulevard, going East. The strip-mall they’re in is tiny, and they’re parking is atrocious. If you’re going in the evening, I would suggest taking a friend to help maneuver you out of the parking-spot, if you’re not an exceptional parker/back-out. Another thing, most people I am sure pass this by, because the few other stores seem shady. I’m a single, tiny-white female with auburn hair, and I have NEVER had any problem or harassment. However, I do sometimes get a queer look like, «What’s she doing here?» I’ve always lived too far away for take-out service, otherwise, I would suggest this in lieu of driving to the restaurant just because the parking is tight. However, if you go during lunch/pre-dinner, there’s never an issue. With that said, give it a try! I have tried many of their dishes, appetizers and soups. They’re all delicious! Great prices for the amount of food you receive, and the service is always friendly and exceptionally kind. I’ve never had any of my take-out bags fall apart and/or leak. Everything is always snugly packed-up for my drive home. That is important to me, because I live about 12 minutes north of there in Palm Beach. Décor is tacky, and only one broken-down chair, and a window for pick-up. You basically stand in an open area the size of a large walk-in closet and they hand your food through the window. Don’t expect to take a date there, or family from out of town to impress… for this you’ll need to have your food delivered. I will continue to go back, because like I wrote above, once I find a place that makes tasty Chinese food, I’ll return at least once a week for another dish. Try-out Lucky’s, they’re so worth the drama of the parking-lot…I hope you do! — Tori with TORIngAmerica

THEYTAKEFOREVER!!! Horrible customer service! Said 20 – 30 min and ended up Taking 1.5 hour for a delivery and when I called to see if we could get a discount since it took so long the manager told us if we don’t want it then to return it because they are too busy. Lousy manager even tried to blame the driver, eventhough it took him 10 min from the place. Try at your own risk! Would not recommend.

This is unforgivably the worst, greasiest Chinese food I have had in Florida(which already sets a low bar for Asian cuisines). Being the best in Boynton as another reviewer mentions doesn’t make it worth eating. Go for Thai at Rice on Woolbright instead.

Every time I go there I get the Singapore noodles. If you like curry and spice… get it. It’s absolutely delish. This place is strictly take out, not very impressive but the food is good.
