This Rotelli’s on Jog Road, Boynton Beach was bought by Bruno and he is in the process of changing the restaurant menu and eventually the name to Bruno’s. Italian food is not generally my «go to» cuisine, but the food was nothing short of outstanding. Try the fish — I had the Crazy Snapper, my husband had the swordfish. Both were incredibly well prepared and delicious as was the imported Italian pasta. The chef had just concocted a new lemon desert which was offered to us on the house. Again, amazingly good. Don’t be put off by the location or Rotelli interior. The food is terrific! Order off the new menu.

Great cheese pizza was the best part of the visit. There were 2 flies which wouldn’t leave us alone. Also it was difficult to understand how a restaurant doesn’t have salad available for lunch because«the delivery truck hasn’t come in.» Okay how about making a trip to the Publix in the same shopping g venter a buy a couple of heads of lettuce? Will order pizza again for pick up but won’t be back for in house dining

This restaurant has been going downhill for a while. Last time we ordered it was the worst meal I ever had. Each item was worse then the last. AngleHair pasta was mush. Clams were rubber. It finished with burnt cheesecake with strawberry jelly on top(described at fresh fruit) Sorry but never again…

My wife and I had a series of unfortunate experiences at our recent visit. We live in the neighborhood and haven’t been there in several years. When we entered, we were seated by the bus boy. He took our drink order and we did not see a waitress for 15 minutes. When I informed her that we were waiting for 15 minutes, she said no one told her she had anyone waiting. Couldn’t she see us? While waiting, I observed the busboy wiping down the table, cleaned off the seats and then resumed cleaning the next table with the same rag. We then gave our order. I ordered soup, which arrived luke warm. My wife ordered a salad. The salad contained somr iceberg lettuce and a half a slice of a tomato that was white. I ordered Veal Parmigiana with linquini. Another 15 minutes passed and she brought me a plate of angel hair pasta. I told her I ordered linguini, she remembered I ordered it, but I told her, I would keep it. I waited at least another ten minutes and told her that my pasta was getting cold. She said the meal was coming right out. A few minutes later the meal came. The veal was over cooked and the cheese was browned. This plate came with the linguini. I asked to speak to the manager, she said which one? I said the one with the most authority. No one came. I then told the busboy that I wanted to speak with the manager, who came a few moments later. I told him this whole story, I showed him the dried out veal and he replied, «but you ate it.» He showed relatively little concern and left. I then began speaking with the waitress who was a young, attractive and personable person. She told us that today was her first day on the job. She was supposed to work with an experienced waiter, who had quit and she was pressed into service, with no one observing or helping her. I felt badly for her, as it is apparent that she was not adequately trained. The management appears to be totally inadequate. If you go to any Italian restaurant in the area, on a Sunday night, there is a line waiting for a table. This place had numerous booths available at 6:30. We arrived at about 5:45 and left at 7:40. This is not a fine dining establishment folks.

First time visiting this restaurant while staying in Boynton. It looked kind of busy. Being from The NY where Italian Restaurants are plentiful and some if the best, I was very surprised. The food was excellent. Started with some garlic rolls that where fresh out of the oven and delicious. Next I had the rice ball. The presentation was beautiful. The ball crisp, topped with fresh Ricotta and surrounded with a homemade sauce. For a main I had mussels over linguine in a light Marinara. The mussels where fresh. The pasta nice and al dente and the sauce was made with fresh tomatoes. My wife had boring chicken parm. But she said it was excellent. We’ll definitely be back The service from Shawna was excellent.

Great people and really good food! You’d be surprised at the quality and hometown friendliness you get whether dining in or getting delivery! YES, they deliver! The pasta fagioli soup is really flavorful with pieces of pork. Excellent chicken francese and eggplant parmesan. Wonderful penne ala vodka too! The delivery person is a sweet little man that calls you«princess», well I guess not everyone! And to reviewer, George, this place used to suck years ago. Since then it’s changed a few hands and been consistently good for over a year. I’ve gone several times, as I live in a community across the street, so it’s also convenient for my family! Oh… and I didn’t have a coupon and when they asked me and I said no they gave me a discount anyway! Try ‘em!

This location is poor compare to Delray one. I ordered shrimp over my penne with vodka sauce. The ENTIRE dish smelled and tasted like fish. Not a pleasant seafood odor either. Topping a dish with 3 shrimp as an add on should not take over the dish. The pizza was coming apart as my kids were holding it to eat it it was so soggy and flimsy. The Rice Ball appetizer was very gooey and doughy. Poorly done. Was $ 40 down the drain.

Wanted a quick local bite and had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised by the meal. Our server Amanda was friendly but not overbearing, the décor was comfortable as were the booths. The caesar salad came with the meal it was a good portion but nothing outstanding. As a vegetarian I eat a lot of eggplant parm and Rotellis was delicious. Sweet thin slices of eggplant, nice flavor to sauce and the right amount of melted cheese. I paid a few extra dollars for angel hair pasta side with an excellent pomodora sauce. Portion were large enough that we skipped dessert but not before we saw them fresh filling a cannoli shell which looked amazing. Also decent glass of wine for 7 – 8 dollars. Would definitely go back.

Chain of pop it out of the freezer Italian food. Not bad, but of the same quality of taking a bag of Bertolli entrée and making it yourself. Weird management rules like we won’t seat you in a larger booth because they are for big parties… and the restaurant was 1⁄3 empty; won’t serve outside cause they can’t handle the capacity… then why have tables outside? This is not on my list of go to places unless my kitchen burns down or I’m at Publix and it’s eating time.

We got a buy one, get one free coupon in the mail and we decided to come here last night to check this place out. Plus, we didn’t want to cook on the night of our anniversary either. This cute little place was right around the corner from our house located in the Publix plaza. We were greeted and seated immediately. The garlic rolls were dipped in butter and it was yummy. Luckily, I had only two and we dare not to ask for more. The pasta du jour soup was alright. It needed some more spices, but I ate most of it. Chris finished off his salad before I got to finish half of the soup. Someone was super hungry ;) I enjoyed the ravioli gigante. It was exactly that. Mmmm… mozzarella, parmigiano, asiago and provolone cheeses mixed with premium ricotta cheese, and wrapped in whole wheat pasta with garlic and special spices topped with meat sauce. I think I got enough cheeses for one night ;) I saved some for lunch today to finish off. Yum. I can’t remember what Chris got, but it looked great. He said it was awesome. The attentive service was excellent. They must of asked us like 5 times if we were happy with our meals. I will definitely come back here.

Jeffrey K was right… and this location no longer has a Rotelli sign. Owners(same as before) don’t get it and I suspect unless they get a makeover, they won’t survive the«summer» season.

It appears that there are other Rotelli’s locations(well at least one other), that is aware of the quality issues affecting this particular location(word seems to spread I suppose). We have since eaten at a different Rotelli’s location and found it to be quite good — I will review that location later. In the meantime, this particular location still rates a «one star», whereas other locations of Rotelli’s rates quite a bit higher.
