The Bee’s Knees offers a bit of a deviation from the normal kids play gym. Many kids gyms seem to be all bounce houses, slides, trampolines, etc. While those places are not bad, and are certainly good for exercising the little ones and working up a nap, The Bee’s Knees offers a more toned down and imaginative experience. Their space inside the Boynton Beach Mall is filled with costumes, masks, puppets, all sorts of doll type houses, a full kitchen set up, coloring and painting type activities and much more. Although my family and I haven’t personally taken advantage of the different class programs, they do offer more structured activities for different age groups beyond the open play experience. We visit regularly and would recommend this place especially to those with children 5 and under. Check the website for hours before you go. There are usually two 3-hour open play sessions per day and they are closed Wednesday and Sunday. Open some Saturdays.

I came here for a play date and to mainly check out the new location. It’s so much better than the old location. There’s more room for the kids to play and there are classes for different age groups each day of the week. My son loved exploring the place during open play and he was easily amused with everything that was there. It’s divided into sections for the kids to do their own thing while learning at the same time. A kitchen, activity puzzles, little houses, chairs, a bunch of toys, and the list goes on. The place is clean and the staff is super big on sanitizing everything. They are closed one day a week because they have a cleaning company come in to sanitize from top to bottom on top of the usual cleaning each day throughout the week. When there are kids, it’s important to keep the germs away. Check their website for prices or you can simply call them. I went with a group, so they offered us a discount for the amount of people. The friendly staff was welcoming and it was very laid back. We have missed this place and are glad that it opened back up in a new location. Yay!
