Food is good and fresh, we’ve only been to breakfast but we are never disappointed. We haven’t tried it for lunch but someday soon hopefully. The wait is very long that’s pretty much the only downside.

If you have a small appetite or are on a diet, stay away. Otherwise come, endulge, and enjoy. The food is very good, the portion sizes are huge, and the prices are great considering the quantity they give. The place get busy on Sunday AM, but it is worth the wait. Lots of choices for even the pickiest of eaters, and the place handles children well too. Nothing fancy, nothing pretentious. Just good food at very good prices.

The quality and extensive menu is amazing. Not to mention the atmosphere. This place is a foodies dream. Everything takes like your mom made it. Been here for three years and this is my favorite breakfast lunch and dinner spot. Yum yum.

Having been to many diners throughout New York City and New Jersey, I had lunch at The Diner. Came at lunch rush and was seated within 5 minutes. Waitress was very attentive. I told her about my food allergies including being Gluten Free and she was very helpful. Ordered a deconstructed burger with no bun and a side Caesar salad with no croutons. Food came out rather quickly. Salad then main both cooked correctly and presented well. Watched the kitchen and the line. Very organized with the wait staff. Dining patrons enjoyed their food since it appeared nothing was going back. The value cost for product served in Palm Beach County is definitely there. Restaurant was very clean. Tables were reset almost immediately. Based upon my experience I would highly recommend.

Went on a Sat. Had to wait bout 20 min. for table. Had great waitress(wish I could remember her name) sorry. Anyways, food was very good, was a positive to see the owner hard at it in the kitchen. Not very expensive, would have gave it 5 stars if they had additional seating(perhaps outside) but def worth a visit.

Nice size place and was there at 730 and was packed. We had 10 of us and we’re sat immediately. Great service and very prompt. Orders. Asparagus scramble and bacon. Great meal, well cooked. Very reasonable price. Great place

I was very pleasantly surprised by The Diner; the food and service were great. There was a little wait time but that was interpreted as a sign of popularity of the place. I didn’t expect a place like this in the location — inside the Quantum Town Center off Gateway in Boynton Beach, a place I would normally only pass by. I had a Greek omelet, which was very large, fresh, well-made and above all tasty. The waitress was professional, friendly and attentive. My only disappointment was the coffee, which was about average. Great value for money; I’ll definitely be coming back to The Diner!

Good wholesome Diner food… we came in for a quick lunch and were in a hurry to make our appointment and found this place all that it was hyped up to be. We each ordered a sandwich and soup and the size of our meal weighed us down lol. The service was prompt attentive and very helpful in making suggestions for us and we will come back to do justice to ourselves and this Diner

Was passing through town and was recommended this place by a local. Right off the I-95 freeway. Great hometown feel with the home cooked meal taste. Our waitress was awesome and so attentive! Portions are huge! The burgers!!! So huge! Turkey meat tasted fresh off the bird! Their lunch special was enough to fill a hungry grown up – me! Can’t wait to try more!

We came here for breakfast this past Saturday for the first time and j would have to say it will definitely not be my last. The wait was a little long 15 – 20 minutes, but we figured it was for a good reason. We were right! The food was awesome! I got to taste the pea meal bacon which was very tasty I shared the mushroom Benedict and the Greek egg white frittata. Both were so awesome the hollandaise is homemade and tasted it! The food came out quick, our waitress was so nice and friendly, everything tasted very fresh and homemade with real ingredients. I honestly can’t wait to try more items on the menu! I would also get the mushroom Benedict again! So good!

I had lunch here on 12/08/2015, and promised myself I would do a review. Why? Because it was so bad! I’m not one who is in Boynton Beach often, perhaps this was the second time I was there in 11 years, don’t live near there, don’t hang out there, either. I had read a review posted by Will G., for whom I have a lot of respect, and I complimented him and said I would check it out if I was ever lost and found myself in Boynton. Well, it was a disaster. It was after 2pm, the lunch time crowd had thinned out. We were seated promptly, given menus, and after a short review, were ready to order. We tried to get the attention of our waitress, and while she walked by our table several times, she ignored us. It appeared that she had a protocol, and only handled one table at a time, and when stopping at certain tables, she engaged returning guests in extended conversations. Well, I like friendly servers, but please, just take our order so we could eat. Ya see, we were really HUNGRY. after 8 minutes, she came and said«what are you havin»? And here is what happened: The coffee she brought was cold, the requested half and half was not brought, and while she took the coffee away, she still forgot to bring back the half and half. I ordered soup and a salad. Dennis ordered a sandwich with a side order of fries, which looked real good. She brought the wrong soup to me. She took it away, and said«I’ll be right back». She brought Dennis his sandwich — on the wrong bread, and the fries were undercooked and cold. We decided not to say anything about the fries, but when she finally brought me the right soup, she also brought a new order of fries, and said«the kitchen said these would be fresher, they were just cooked». That was quite revealing, as it was apparent that the kitchen realized the fries were sitting on the shelf in the kitchen, under a heat lamp, and that’s why they were soggy and luke warm to cold. Oh, my salad was huge, too huge, and while it appeared fresh, as I expected it would be, there were no ingredients which jumped out at me as being really yummy. Give credit for that. But the dressing I asked for was not brought, either. Our booth allowed me a clear vantage point view of the kitchen, the register, the front door. Our waitress was running from one area to another, as well as answering the phone to write up take-out orders. Sorry, I may sound cranky, but it was just a bad experience, from start to finish. I guess if you work around there and like their food and have experienced stellar service as many of my fellow Unilocalers assert, keep on going. As for us, we will chalk it up to experience, and next time I have an appointment in the area, I’ll drive by, and stop at SBUX. I will know what I am getting, and will not have to potentially deal with the same scenario. Also, I didn’t get any sense that this place had«character», as all diners in NYC have, but it was clean. Maybe this is a go to place for oversized fattening greasy breakfasts, but I avoid them.

The menu is what I would call«real diner» fare, and I was happy to see hot open faced sandwiches on the menu both turkey and roast beef. Unfortunately the turkey sandwich was bland and the mashed potatoes were missing something in texture. I wanted to call them«watery» but that would make them sound runny… They weren’t dense like you sometimes get at low end diners, but they weren’t creamy like good mashed potatoes should be. The portion sizes were generous, probably overkill for the breakfast omelettes. The frittatas looked good, but were only offered in egg whites. Service was a little slow.

THEPLACE Looks like a little higher end place than your typical diner. It is a seat yourself kind of place. THEFOOD Typical diner fare, but with a smaller menu. I ordered French Toast, Bacon and a Belgian Waffle. I know, I know that is an odd combo, but that is what I felt like eating. French toast was pretty average. The bacon was good with a nice smoky flavor and properly cooked. The Belgian waffle looked great, but the waffle was no crisp at all. THESTAFF Nice hometown type of staff. SUMMARY You can get in and out of here quickly with an OK meal for a good price.

If going on the weekend expect a crowd, as with any place that serves breakfast! Our wait time was about 30 min. The waitress took our order in a timely manner and was quick with refills. The food is very large portions so go with an appetite! The pancakes are bigger than your head. If you order an omelet, it can be easily shared because it’s made with 5 eggs! No joke. The home fries were a disappointment. They were missing seasoning and salt. French toast isn’t only dipped in the obvious egg, but it comes with a layer of egg on it. So eggs basically come with your French toast. Some would say this place just slopped together breakfast, but who said breakfast has to be orderly. Would I return. Sure! It wouldn’t be my «go to» place but it fills the belly happily.

When we drove by last week to try it out, we decided not to since it was packed with people waiting outside. I decided to call in a takeout for breakfast yesterday since I didn’t feel like cooking and we honestly were not sure it was going to be a crowd like last time. The lady who took our order over the phone said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Wow! I wasn’t expecting it to be done so quickly. After arrival, it wasn’t crowded. Maybe it was because it was 8 o’ clock in the morning or Labor Day. However, I was informed I was there before the rush and I made great timing because there was a crowd of 10 people that came in behind me. The place is cute and small. It doesn’t look like an old fashioned diner and it’s very clean. The menu has a bunch of different items to choose from and it’s famous for their breakfast items. I was happy to have a BOGO coupon for our two meals, which made the total bill 9 bucks. Wooop! My husband got the 3 egg breakfast with cheese, home fries, bacon, and toast. I went for the Diner with Peameal egg benedict. Both of our meals were huge and delicious. The Canadian bacon is the real deal. We couldn’t even eat half of our breakfast and it was so fulfilling. If you’re in the Boynton Beach area and looking for something great and quick, check this place out. Thank me later :)

Great little breakfast spot. I had the ham and swiss frittata and my boyfriend had the steak and eggs. Both were tasty and large helpings. Prices were decent. Atmosphere was a typical diner… loud. Our waitress was awesome and attentive. The place should definitely consider building a railing to divide the cooking line from the dining tables.

At 2pm on a Saturday we had no problem getting a table, so I can’t comment on what the crowd looks like during actual breakfast… or lunch times for that matter. Our server was not only attentive, she was hilarious! We had a good time bouncing jokes around while sipping our never empty waters. My biscuits and gravy were some of the most buttery delicious biscuits and gravy I’ve had in a while. I also normally get vegetarian breakfasts, but my hangover made a different decision on my behalf. We added a side of potatoes and fries for the table and everyone scarfed down their breakfasts without complaint. Any place that serves breakfast all day that’s not Denny’s is pretty much an instant win — Add friendly service, easy parking and a full belly and you’ve got a fan!

I have been eating here since my company moved their location nearby. I’m generally not a fan of diners as most are old, dirty and offer absolutely no character. After driving by and seeing this place full at all times I decided to stop by and try it. I’m not going to lie it was also in a newly constructed building so that definitely played a factor in my decision lol. The interior of this place was spotless and did not look like a diner. The plates, glassware and silverware were not old and dirty. They were actually new and spotless. Sorry I had to say that. They have a large menu with sandwiches, salads and of course breakfast items. Their prices are so cheap that it almost seems too good to be true. I love having breakfast foods in the afternoon or evening but not in the morning so I’m only here during lunch time. Their eggs benedict is awesome. They even use pea meal which apparently is real Canadian bacon. Their homemade hollandaise sauce is on point. The eggs are always perfectly poached. They do have fresh cut fries which is a big deal to me. They fry them perfectly too. My go to item here is the power breakfast. It consists of a grilled chicken breast, scrambled egg whites, toast and a mixed fruit cup. The chicken breast is consistently cooked to perfection. The fruit cup is a good size and the fruits have always been fresh. It fills you up and it costs around $ 9.00. You always see the same faces working and they are friendly. The majority of the customers are regulars. Come try this place out. It puts the nearby competition to shame.
