Trek Bicycle Store of Boynton Beach

I can’t speak more highly of the service that I received at this location. I’ve been a customer for years, and recently graduated from a trek fx to a trek SL 5. I wanted something mid level and that I could build upon to make better. I did some research but, needed some clarity and direction with this. That is where Eric of the Boynton Beach trek comes into play. I basically explained to him my goals/​style/​price range and off we went. We agreed that this bike would be a good selection for me. We both did research on upgrades for this bike, I was interested in ultregra upgrades, just not set in stone. Eric came back with strong recommendations of a new wheelset. He and the head mechanic both recommended the zipp firecrest 404 wheel sets. Eric had them in under 24 hours and installed for me. All I had to do was return and finish the fitting– of which was non less then professional. I selected a few more necessities and off I went. Eric without a complaint installed my new car rack and all. I would highly recommend this trek location and ask for Eric next time you stop in. I can only hope that his position pays him commission on what he sells, because I dropped a good chunk of money there. He deserves it and be sure to drop by.

Most bike repair people are vastly more straightforward than auto repair people, to set a perspective. They generally know their business and do very good work. Christian and others at Trek are really among the top I’ve come across even in the biking world. They have a business to run so they don’t give away repair work, but they are more than reasonable — and have congenial and helpful attitudes. I always try to repair my bike by myself, but if the job involves an expensive tool or I can’t figure something out, I go to Trek.

Excellent, excellent, excellent bike shop. Try waking into the competition a couple miles down and then come here. You’ll see what I mean.

So I have been looking for a new bicycle at a few different places and narrowed down to a hybrid, as close to a road bike but with the straight handle bars is what I want. I’ve heard good things about Trek so I went here for the last stop thinking I would definitely find a nice bike. I found a awesome bike the 7.5 f. x I loved the look. I was looking around for a while and nobody helped me or asked if needed anything, finally a shorter gentleman came and started telling me about the bike. He seemed to be really rushing the whole time he was with me and spoke way to fast, I felt awkward like he had better things to do and I was just wasting his time it did seem busy with other employees working on bikes in the back and talking to other customers but it seemed like he did not want to deal or spend time with me. Not good customer service which is weird because I’ve had friends who have bought bikes there around Christmas time and they said the complete opposite. Other then that the store looked great, clean and was overall a nice shop, stinks the service isn’t good.

This is great store, all of these great reviews are accurate in that sense, Trek is also a great bike, so where can you go wrong?

I narrowed my choice to a Trek, just seemed to have better components at the price point i was at. After doing some review homework, and online search for the bike i wanted i ended up at Boynton Trek. My height put me on the cusp of two sizes. Of course this is a huge decision. I wandered around the store and Brent walked out of the back to help me… a tall guy. May be a weird point but he knew where i was coming from and put me on the right sized bike. Not the one i was looking for… i settled on a 8.4 DS. After a week of riding every morning im pretty happy.
i recommend the shop, nice guys all. And they work on all bikes, they were tuning a big box store brand while i was there.

These people really know everything about bikes. Everybody is so helpful and nice. Go talk to Chris or Paul, best manager and sales person ever! They will definitely take care of you!

A small, but excellent bike shop with quality products and EXCEPTIONAL service. The staff here is friendly, helpful and very welcoming towards anyone new to the hobby.
I ended up purchasing a shiny new Trek City Bike and they were quick to let me know that I could bring it in at any time during the next year for any kind of service, maintenance or assistance I needed at no charge. They didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need and were not pushy in any way whatsoever. They did answer my questions about future accessories I may want to pick up and I left knowing I would certainly be back to give Trek more business.
The bike itself rides like a dream and is already getting tons of use. It puts my previous bike to shame. Highest possible recommendation if you are in the market for a quality bike.

Recently visited for the first time for some assistance and as others have written their customer service is superb. When we go to buy our next bike it will definitely be from here.

All the 5 star reviews for this Trek store on Unilocal are true. This is a wonderful store selling a quality product. But it is the great staff that works there which really differentiates this store from other bicycle stores. Everyone working there from the sales people to the mechanics and the manager are knowledgeable, patient and consumer friendly. They are obviously geared toward customer satisfaction and service and not simply sales. They love cycling and want you to enjoy it also by assisting you to get the right bicycle for your needs and then helping you keep it in peak condition. They are not cycling snobs who only are interested in advanced cyclists purchasing expensive bicycles .You will be treated exceptionally well there if you want to buy a very basic bike or if you are an experienced rider who wants to buy one of the truly exceptional bikes made by Trek. I am new to Delray Beach and feel very lucky to have found this store.

Ok upgraded my bike again. This time we built custom wheels. Let me say they have changed the way I ride and the distance I ride. They built my wheels with such pride that I am so happy in did the upgrade. Quality, quality, quality is all I can say. People are great. Bill the store manager is great and his whole team are awesome.
