Fast and Friendly. Have rented twice from this location and they Always exceed my expectations. Would recommend this store to anyone.

This poor review is only given AFTER we have tried to contact your local managers as well as u-haul customer service to address our issue. We did not want to take it as far as giving poor reviews, but it seems it has come to it. I work in customer service and am outraged by the lack of response or compassion we are receiving for our recent experience from U-haul. I rented a 26′ truck and some moving accessories from your Boynton Beach, Florida location at 9am on Thursday, June 12th, 2014. Our return time was 7pm the same day. During our 80 mile(RT) drive, we experienced a couple frustrating issues. The gas gauge is broken, therefore we filled up the truck more than we even needed to in order to compensate for wherever the gauge would land upon return. We were of course charge for gas as if we hadn’t put gas in, which we HAD. Were charge for 4 gallons! But since then, we have been refunded, thank god, at least THAT was done. But our other issues were not addressed. We were inconvienenced in poor customer service from beginning to end as well as an obnoxious emergency light that came on while we drove. During our 80 mile(RT) drive, we had to slow down or keep a 50MPH or less speed while on 95. This was due to your«primary brake» light coming on every TEN seconds and beeping loudly for a whole minute at a time, every TEN seconds. It was horrible. We called roadside assistance, which took 30 minutes to get an actually human(your automated system kept looping), and finally the person we spoke with didn’t know what we were talking about, had to google it, and just didn’t help at all. We were not reassured if we should keep driving or not. What if our brakes gave out? By the time we spoke to her we had already reached our destination. When we called the store to speak to a manager, no one answered or when we did get someone, no one called us back. When we dropped the truck off, a girl with a nasty attitude told us we were too late in dropping it off so we were unable to speak to anyone and stormed off. She was rude and could have at least been nice about it. We arrived at 6:59 when drop off was 7pm. We didn’t know you CLOSED at 7pm, no one told us that. Even so, you should be helpful! No one at customer service or the store would help. We called today, our last straw, spoke to a man(we think was the owner) who told us basically he’s too busy to deal with us and the most he could do was give us $ 50 credit to u-haul and NOT to our credit card. I feel this is an unfair compensation and our time and energy is worth more. Why would I ever want to do business with u-haul again? I am asking for $ 50 at least, although i am ready to ask for a full refund! And for it to be give to me back on my card. This is rediculous that I have to waste my time in writing this, customer service should be at the forefront of every business. You should be ashamed and embarrassed.
