Surprised by the low rating here. I have gone here for eye exams for contact lenses. The doctor is very pleasant and friendly, but not overly so. About as enjoyable an eye exam experience as one can expect. On my first visit I was interested in color contacts, for Halloween. He was very patient in showing me the styles he had available, and letting me try on different options. He also had no problem providing me with a copy of my prescription so that I could order lenses online. Stock in the store is usually good though, if you need lenses right away. Like most places they will let you walk out with a freebie pair in your eyes. I have been able to purchase a «years-worth» of contacts at a time. They are also good enough to tell you about manufacturer rebates. They also have their own discount program which they try to push on you, which may or may not be worth it. I did it one year, and got some free sunglasses, but I probably wouldn’t do it again. My last visit was to get a pair of glasses adjusted(I had ordered them online and they kept falling off my face), the man who helped me(different from the optometrist mentioned earlier) was nice, he was very curious and asked me a few questions about where I ordered my glasses from and what the process was. The adjustment took just a few minutes and was free.

Two pairs of glasses at $ 600+ one was the correct prescription and the second pair was not. Waiting to see what the corrective action from VW will be and let you know.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. It’s is horrible in every sense. I walked in to pick out some glasses and nobody acknowledges you. The carpet is dirty. It smells. The place is full of allergens. I waited for about an hour to be helped and the person who helped us abandoned us for another client so we had to wait again. Unbelievable. They have a horrible selection of cheap looking and off brand frames. We finally were helped and it took forever to be done. We were there for about 2 hours more and still were told we would have to pick up glasses in about 4 hours. When we came back we were told they didn’t have our particular model and it would be ready in 10 business days. After losing a day and already have been charged. We came back to pick up the glasses a week later and the same situation, no one acknowledges you and we had to wait an hour and a half just to pick up some glasses. I have never had such a crappy experience. Do yourself a favor and go to lenscrafters. I have been to them before and they are fantastic. If you’re asking why I came to visionworks in the first place it’s because my insurance was changed.

OK I have issues with this place. I loved the doctor who did my testing. but everyone else? I was there 3 different days and someone was always fighting with someone(and it was always different people, all of which were employees). How can you fight and bicker in front of clients and paying customers? Don’t go here just go someplace else and thank me later.
