Worst retail store ever. The employees are snooty and stuck up and the management has no clue what they are doing. Please support other local shops in Bozeman! They will treat you so much better than this dump

Love the service! They always help me find what I need quickly and have great sales. The chick selection this year was great also and only got one rooster out of 15 chicks.

Okay the deal with Murdoch’s is they aren’t the cheapest in town, but they will occasionally price match to be competitive. However on things like chainsaws, weed wackers, lawn mowers, etc I don’t go anywhere else.
The reason I buy the bigger things from them are the customer service, they excel at it. I’ve had several issues with my gas powered things over the years and these guys are always helpful. I usually buy the extended warranty of stuff I use hard which helps also.
But the staff here is always polite and helpful as can be. Will continue to shop here for those types of items.

Love this store. I’m from Tennessee and don’t have anything like this! I fell in love with the huge selection and the well stocked shelves! I can’t wait to visit Montana again so I can go here! Anything from guns to shoes and jackets not to mention everything for horses and dogs! The list goes on!

Just spent a week in Big Sky and Bozeman vacationing with my family. We really wanted to go shopping for some boots and western-​wear but had trouble finding a store. Finally on the last day of our trip a gas station attendant told me to try Murdoch’s. JACKPOT! This was exactly what we had been looking for. I would never have stopped here if I wasn’t told they had what we wanted, it looked like a Home Depot or Lowes if you were just driving by. But inside is the most fabulous selection of Boots, hats and clothing and sparkly belts. We bought a ton of stuff, which incidentally they shipped to his here in Massachusetts for a flat fee of $ 10.00. Of all of our stops between Yellowstone, Big Sky, Virginia City and Bozeman, this was by far the best shopping experience. Staff was great and the selection was extensive.

I hate writing negative reviews but every time I’ve been in here I felt kinda unwelcome. Never been greeted or offered help once, even though there are always plenty of people working. All I really wanted was help with some boots but I didn’t feel like I could approach anyone. I love their selection, and I can appreciate the casual environment but I wish the customer service was a little different.

Murdoch’s is one of my most favorite stores ever. The staff is ALWAYS very nice, fun and helpful. They are what help make this store so great. Tons of quality clothing brands and tools galore.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The prices can be a bit high… but you get what you pay for!
