Xtreme Carpet Cleaning

I got my carpets done this afternoon and I am not impressed. The small home special was a great deal, but the professionalism that followed was appalling, and in no way redeeming.
We originally scheduled our appointment for 12:30pm, and received two text messages the morning of rescheduling our time to 10:30am, and then 11:00am. They proceeded to let themselves into my house, without knocking, at 9:30am to «check it out» with any prior notice except a phone call to my roommate who was not home! We then agreed to keep the original time of 12:30pm, though they failed to show up until around 1:30pm.
The experience was invasive, unprofessional, and disappointing. I would not recommend this company’s services to anyone.

Their service is great! Friendly, affordable and great work. I’d give them five stars, but the only thing they couldn’t remove was the oil based paint stains.

Great! As a college kid it seems like they have really good prices. Ease in scheduling. They even texted me to tell me they were on their way to my place. They removed some spots for free for me and got me my whole damage deposit back when I thought it was a lost cause! Really easy to talk to. Great communication! These guys even let me mail in a check when my damage deposit came through (since I didn’t have enough cash when I was moving out). Though I was a little weary of their quotes after seeing some of these reviews, they actually quoted me too high on the phone and the technician was honest enough to save me a few bucks even though I told him the high quote. Seem like really honest guys and they got me my damage deposit back. Even though it seems like their quotes aren’t completely accurate over the phone, their technicians keep consistent prices and I would certainly use them again! A++++

I agree with Alice: beware of these guys. I was given a great sounding estimate over the phone after giving a description of the upstairs and downstairs floor plan of my place. After the work was done, the price was about 25% higher than the original quote. The reason: they charge a certain amount per stair, which wasn’t included in the original quote. Maybe they thought I had an elevator in my 2 story appt.

We have had Xtreme Carpet Cleaning take care of our carpets on 3 different occasions now. All of the staff are always so polite and professional and prices are very reasonable. I love their prompt service and response to inquiries. We will always recommend and continue to use this great company for all of our carpet needs!

I have used Xtreme Carpet cleaners quite a few times and have always been impressed with their service, price and thoroughness. This last time prompted my review though because my husband was out of town and my children and dog had the stomach flu, leaving 3 – 4 such gross instances on carpet. I was so exhausted and it stunk so bad I called Alden (the owner) in tears. He literally had someone at my house in 20 – 25 minutes. The young man was extremely friendly, kind to my kids and tried to do the job quickly because he knew it was hard for me to keep the kids corralled! He cleaned an adjoining room beyond the quote for no charge too. The carpets look amazing and the smell and spots are completely gone. It also dried quickly which is great with kids and pets running around. I would highly recommend Xtreme to anyone and will definitely be using them again when needed.

Please think twice about using this carpet cleaning «business». They did a horrible job of cleaning a very small space with minimal stains from normal wear and tear. The carpet actually looked worse after they «cleaned» it. I was charged 75 $ for a basic cleaning and another 75 $ for each «spot». The spots remained, the carpet was not cleaned, and when the «professionals» were finished, they dumped the dirty water out my front door onto the driveway so it could freeze and create a skating rink for us to park our cars on! I would never recommend this business. I got my neighbors to clean the carpet with their home steam cleaner vacuum and did a 10 times better job than these guys. Horrible service. Horrible experience.
