Bradenton Beach, the southernmost city of Anna Maria Island where the term«Old Florida» could have been contrived, like many small beachside towns that dots the coast of Florida, this place accentuate everything that defines«the salt life». If you visit Bradenton Beach it’s likely that at some point you’ll end up on Bridge Street the center of this Historic Old Town featuring the clock tower and boardwalk which provides the entrance to the Pier and Café located where the original wooden bridge once stood which at the time was the only means of accessing the island other than by boat. If there are any negatives about visiting this barrier island it’s the traffic so you might want to consider using the«FREE» Island Trolley to get around, although it comes with its frustrations too with its frequent stops, but it does eliminate the parking dilemma that exist due to the popularity of the island. The island’s miles of sugar sand beaches that line the warm waters of the Gulf are nearly uninterrupted with numerous almost unlimited access, so grab your shorts, flip-flops, a chair and relax this is some of Florida’s best. Once you’ve witnessed one of the magnificent sunsets there are plenty of options to experience some of the areas best freshly prepared seafood and island drinks all while listening to some of the best local musical talent, not a bad way to end a day at the beach.

This is a beautiful beach with blue waters and white sands. There is plenty of parking! If anyone has been to Siesta Key, they know you have to come at the crack of dawn or circle around to find a parking space during peak hours/season. I still love Siesta Key and their snack bar, but there is a lot to love here too.

This beach was perfect! I were trying to go to Holmes Beach but we couldn’t find a parking spot. We stumbled on this beach by accident. It was beautiful. We parked right across the street. It was very convenient and kid friendly. The part we were at did not have facilities or anything. it was still a great spot for us.

The beaches at Bradenton Beach are spectacular. Very well kept up by the city and locals. It was neat to see that the locals were marking off sea turtle nests so that no one would disturb them. White sand, great views of sunset, worth checking out!
