More than just a fantastic place the see a sunset or host an event. Friendly. Owner is happy to discuss the menu. Overheard couple bragging about the steak and a seafood pasta dish. I am a great fan of veal picatta. This version does not disappoint and has a lot of mushrooms. Generous portion. Also recommend tomato/mozzarella salad and oyster Bienville

Six of us met here for dinner on Sunday eve, place was not crowded. We ordered a btl of wine and other drinks. Also ordered 2 appetizers to share, 45 min later our appetizers showed up at just about the time our dinners arrived. We had been trying to get the waitress to cancel the Appetizers but gave up and told another waitress to cancel them, Shortly thereafter our waitress appeared with them. As for the main meal my AHAi Tuna appetizer was a major dissapointment, .barely 6 small pieces and very thin. I’ve had much better Tuna at lesser expensive restaurants around the area. While the waitperson was OK we felt she could have done more to push the kitchen for quicker service on the appetizers and been morre attentive. Beachbum1

We ate at Bridge Street Bistro in the early evening, and I would probably recommend making reservations. The host and hostess were not especially friendly(borderline rude), but the waiter more than made up for them. He was very friendly, polite, and made helpful suggestions. The food was very good; some items I liked better than others, but that was due to personal preparation preferences rather than the actual menu items. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would eat here again.

The food was excellent. We waited a bit, but it was spring break week and busy dinner hours. The sauces were delicious, and the fish was cooked well.

Great location and atmosphere. Food leaves about everything to be desired. Typical tourist bar and restaurant. Good for drinks, skip for food.

We selected this restaurant for its location and spectacular sunset. Unfortunately, that was the only thing we enjoyed at this restaurant. The food quality was well below average. My son’s steak was served raw due to the fact that all of our meals were served at different times. I couldn’t imagine charging the prices they do at this restaurant for the level of service and food quality we received. Skip this place!

Great drinks — great food — I’ve lived on Anna Maria island for 4 years this place is great — ask for Alexa outstanding and completely. Knows the menu — five star in my book

We sat outside on the 3rd floor deck overlooking Gulf Dr., the beach, Gulf of Mexico and beautiful sunsets! Very good happy hour prices; the $ 5 Cosmos was yummy, and it’s hard to beat a $ 4 well drink. The spinach and artichoke dip, served warm, with crostini… fabulous! Other items on happy hour menu looked good, too. Happy Hour is 3 – 5 pm and the best seats go quickly, so don’t be late!

We were determined to eat here — and after eventually finding the entrance — which I first thought was the backdoor — walking past the kitchen and restrooms — and somehow finding the stuffy, plain, dated and not welcoming looking dining room(but with a great view) while bumped into by numerous waiters — we were met by a over-busy hostess on the phone, who somehow disappeared after spotting us. So we made our way back down the untidy stairwell. Weird experience.

We’ve been here for dinner a few times and it was always an excellent experience. We decided to book our wedding reception here because we love the atmosphere and the food. What a mistake. We had several conversations with the event coordinator as to what we’d like, menu, room setup, etc. There were wrong items on our set menu, extra desserts charged for people who didn’t order them, extra dinners served to people who weren’t there because we were told we’d all be ordering when we got there. We even sent over a tentative number of what everyone was having so they could prepare for what did they would need. We were told that this was not set in stone and they were just trying to get a ballpark idea and that the guests would give their actual orders when we arrived. That’s not what happened. The servers brought out trays of food and stood at the head of the table calling out names. It was unbelievably tacky. The appetizers were buffet style(including ahi tuna) had been sitting out on a table for a while before we got there. We had specified we would order appetizers individually, not buffet style. The coconut shrimp was dried out and the tuna had to be taken back to the kitchen because it had been out so long. We had sent a picture of the room set up how we wanted it and it wasn’t, that had to be changed. I was so irritated I just wanted to leave. What a mess!

Stopped here for a couple of drinks after going to the Moose Lodge, yes, the Moose Lodge, but that’s a whole other story. Bridge St. Bistro is a very nice place. Big bar with a nice patio, great service and a huge selection of drinks. It’s right across the street from the beach so it’s a perfect place to hit before or after the beach. It’s more upscale than most beach bars, but it doesn’t have the stuffy feel of an upscale bar. Everybody is friendly and prices are reasonable. Not cheap, reasonable. They also have the big flame heat things on the patio for those cold nights. Great place; I’d definitely go back.

Here now, 1 hour and fifteen minutes still waiting on apps, they even limited the menu tonight. Island time is one thing, but we are on pace for a 3 hour dinner, even if the food is great, too annoyed to enjoy it. Should not happen with these prices, and level of restaurant.

I can’t speak about the food, only the service. My partner and I are both patient, easygoing people, but we came here and were greeted coldly by the host, who looked around the restaurant and decided that we were decent enough to be seated. There were about 4 tables or so that were taken… plenty of room. We then proceeded to wait at least 20 minutes without a menu or water. Waiters walked by us as if we were invisible. One waiter served a table next to us food and grabbed some utensils and napkins off our 4 person table, without even acknowledging us or muttering a simple, «I’ll be with you right in a minute.» We waited exactly 2 more minutes then got up and left. Maybe the food would have been good. But it was after 7PM on a Sunday night, and so we tried our luck elsewhere.

We came here because the Blue Marlin was«practically reservation only» and boy were my wife and I glad we came! The view is spectacular, what an amazing place to see the sunset! Btw take the elevator, unless you want a cardio workout from the stairs. Quiet, cute little place, older wait staff which gives you some amazing quality service. Great drinks and very wide selection too. My wife’s «side» Greek salad was enough for two & is was loaded with plenty of color and veges!!! The lobster bisque rivals places I have been in New England & Maine! The seafood was to die for! Grassy Key Grouper & Scallops Oscar we sooo perfect! Great ingredients, fresh, clean tastes worth a visit!!!

For a good beach vacation like atmosphere, this was definitely a good pick. They had fantastic live music(a little loud but very good). There were 10 of us and we only waited a few minutes so that was also a plus. For being right near the beach, the prices for both food and alcohol were pleasantly fair and you didn’t feel like you were being taken. Service was less than pat and they were out of a couple things otherwise my review would have more stars. The oysters were very fresh and services perfectly. I would also highly suggest the homemade chips and the lobster bisque. I wouldn’t put this on the top of my list for the area, but if u want a good live band and a fully stocked bar this is a great pick.

Decided to try this upscale spot for our 4th wedding anniversary. We have heard from a number of people about the beautiful view and the great food. We let the gentleman who was seating us know it was our 4th wedding anniversary, he said he would make a note and make sure that they did something nice. We got a great table with a view overlooking bridge St., out on to the beach. My wife asked for a sparkling water /OJ blend, which they were happy to provide. I got a Big Top White Sands. I went with the top sirloin(medium) and my wife went with the filet mignon(medium well). In a high end restaurant, I expect for my beef to be to my specifications. If I’m getting a slab at a buffet then I understand overcooking and under flavoring, but at a high end spit where I’m dropping $ 20+ on less than 8oZ steak, I want it to be elevated. It wasn’t. My medium order came out well(no pink at all) and my wife’s filet was also well done. My steak came out with mashed potatoes, onion rings, and vegetables. Both were good, but the overcooked steak was a huge downer for me. My wife had the filet l, which came with a onion/potato cake, veggies, and a mushroom/onion demi glaze. To me, it tasted like the demi glaze had been burned in the pan. That combined with the over cooked nature, I was greatly disappointed. To top things off, aside from the gentleman that seated us, no one once mentioned our anniversary. I’m sorry to say, walking out we regretted our decision, but ce la ve.

Wonderful Dining Experience Great environment, spectacular sunset view, superb food and exceptional service. Craig L., our server, provided great insight and recommendations to our menu choices. Reasonably priced wine list. This is truly the hidden gem of Anna Maria Island. Simply, the best.

We ended up here after not being able to get into Blue Marlin. It sits across the street from the beach on the 2nd and 3rd floor. We started with the Coconut Shrimp, Lobster Bisque, seafood gumbo and French Onion Soup. All were decent though the French Onion was a little bland. For entrees we all got the Apple Crusted Grouper with Corn Fritters in an Apple Cream Sauce which was fantastic. This dish was cooked perfectly and the Grouper had a light breading and was not the least bit soggy from the sauce nor were the fritters. Service was good and the atmosphere was fun. If the weather was clearer the night would have been perfect.

Our new favorite place to eat in south Florida. Joann and i split two dinners, we went with the Apple Crusted Grouper and the Scallops Oscar. Both were superb but the grouper was just amazing we both found that to be our favorite and can not wait to come back here. Everything is made to order and fresh catch, nothing frozen. This is a must if in the area, prices are 20 to 33 a plate and well worth every penny, this place is 5 stars without question. Not to mentioned perfect sunset views from the 3rd floor

This restaurant is on the second and third floors above an open air bar, right on the traffic circle at Bradenton Beach. The second floor dining room has lovely windows looking west over the beach across the street. The third floor has a nice bar and also indoor dining as well as a balcony with open air tables. Several others have commented about the service here and we agree. They really give you a warm friendly feeling when you walk in. She had local grouper with shrimp, I had coconut-almond crusted Mahi-Mahi. Both were excellent. Come early for the sunset, stay for the seafood. Get a table on the third floor balcony if you can.
