My wife and I came down to celebrate her sisters birthday. 4 of us took the tour and it was a blast. The ages were 47 – 72 and Joey was our guide. He was excellent and a ton of fun. Don’t hesitate to try this cool activity and make sure you visit segs by the sea. Very professional.

Down on vacation on Anna Maria Island; decided to try a family Segway outing. Scheduled with nice lady (Julie?) for the next day. Very nice & helpful.
Next day we had a little rain roll thru — called from nearby and she said they were watching storm and we would make a decision close to appt. time. Rain stopped and we went to Segs. Greeted by Joey, our guide. Awesome guy!!! After some quick instructions Joey took is on a 90 minute tour. He was a great guide, taking wife’s cell for dozens of interesting pics. Took us all thru BB and Longboat Key, stopping often to take in sights. Riding the Segways was simple and once you got the hang it was a lot of fun. Anyway, a great tour, lots of fun. Highly recommended!!!

Service was awesome. Good quick lesson. Took a private self-guided tour and we got a nice 1-hr experience… Went to bridge and back and got some nice pictures of beaches and got to see some of the other spots. Nothing much really to see but just experience the beach-line…
Definitely recommend. It’s always fun to ride the Segway.

Enjoyed a great tour guided by Jack. Because June is off season, we were able to use a discount and had a private tour for our family. We especially liked seeing the wild peacocks on Longboat Key. Crossing the bridge wasn’t as scary as anticipated although the fishermen didn’t seem pleased to see the segways. Most of the trip was conducted in the shade and the machines were new and in good repair. I would have liked to hear more about the history of the area, but maybe less information was given because we had our 9 year old on the tour.
Definitely recommend Segs by the Sea!
