I just moved to the Bradenton area and was nervous about finding a new stylist. I had been with the same one for 20 years. After reading about Amanda Richards on Unilocal I decided to give it a try. I went in and met the owner he suggested Caryn. She was fantastic. Great highlights!!! Very clean and friendly salon.

Caryn was amazing! She took the time to listen to what I wanted and we talked about my hair type and what would work. She did a great job and it looks healthier than it has looked in a long time! I am so happy! The salon is very modern and stylish, and prices are reasonable.

I have literally looked for a hairdresser for years that did exactly what I wanted and needed done to my hair and not what they thought was best (which always turned out to be a disappointment) Finally I have found Caryn, who I absolutely adore. She is amazing at coloring, cutting and making you look fantastic. I love my hair and have already scheduled my next appointment. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for and I am happy to part with my money because Caryn does such a good job! The salon is beautiful, clean and just feels like a friendly place when you walk in the door. I would highly recommend you check out the salon if you live anywhere within 100 miles of Bradenton!

If you are looking for a salon– look no further! The staff is fantastically talented and not only listens to what you’re trying to accomplish, but truly understands. Richard can definitely handle a redhead and I have never left without feeling like my hair is amazing! The full staff are genuinely concerned about your comfort and check in regularly and the chairs during shampoo/​rinsing provide a phenomenal massage! Seriously– LOVE THIS SALON!!!

This is THE best hair salon in Bradenton FL and the beauty salon we have all been waiting for. I am a bestselling author and my hair is really important to me. Richard, the owner of Amanda Richards Salon took to the task and is such a gifted hair stylist I see him once a week now. Number one, I have long hair for age 52 and I asked him to not cut it too short the first time to see if he was good at cut.
Richard has to be the first person in my life who managed to keep it long AND develop a great cut — called «precision» cutting. This is where some cuts are shorter than others to allow your hair to really fall sexy when it hits the shoulders. And it is not easy to do. He did it! Typically I can only find «precision» cutters in major cities such as Houston, NYC — very few in Bradenton even know what I am talking about.
If you have Richard do your hair consider asking for the gloss, it is like a color but is clear and lasts for weeks. It is around $ 35 — and originally I was just having him apply a deep condition that may have been close to the same price. In humid Florida the gloss is wonderful and helps keep your hair from frizzing out.
COLOR CHANGE FROM «BOX JOB» BLACK
I had been doing my own roots for years in «dark brown» but had so much pigment built it — my hair looked black, and rather fake black. No salon said they could remove that much pigment in one session without harming the hair and wanted like eight sessions.
Richard DID remove enough pigment in one session without harming my hair and I am now a true chestnut brown-​and it looks beautiful. So Amanda Richards Salon in Bradenton FL is the BEST HAIR SALON in BRADENTON FLORIDA and they can do miracles with hair. Richard does my roots now — not me. He is the best and he has hired very talented other stylists. His training, I found, was global and he lived in Paris a few years and other metro cities, which is usually the best place for hair stylists to perfect their craft.
Also the Salon is very contemporary and VERY clean. Clean is the first thing on my mind when I am at any salon and I noticed everything when it comes to sanitation. Amanda Richard’s Salon is located right next to WholeFoods on Manatee Avenue and this is actually how I found him after giving up on a hair stylist in my city.
