Applebee’s

It’s an Applebee’s. It’s a good Applebee’s. The service was friendly, quick, and efficient. The setting was just like any other Applebee’s I’ve ever seen – perhaps a little more worn than some of the newer ones. While I wouldn’t normally choose to frequent an Applebee’s, I had a decent experience at this location.
I had a chicken plate, the name of which I don’t even recall right now. When our server brought it out, I immediately knew that there was no way that I’d be full after eating it; I was 100% correct on this. While the chicken was pretty decent – tender, hot, and juicy – the portions were just tiny. I had a side of steamed vegetables with the chicken, and it was also tiny. Unfortunately, there was nothing else that came with the dish, so I ordered a second side of vegetables. It was just as small as the first, but by this time, I just gave up and decided to head back to the office.
So in summary, the service was good, the food was certainly edible though scant, and as a result, I left hungry. Not entirely bad.

Visited applebee’s yesterday for dinner and their happy hour specials. Our server, who I believe was named Kylie, was very slow and inattentive. We had to flag her down multiple times, and she would pass us by when our drinks were running low without asking if we wanted a refill. Due to happy hour, I wanted a 2 for 1 margarita, and she suggested I try a strawberry lime margarita. She did not mention that this margarita was not only more expensive, but was not included in their happy hour special, therefore, I got one margarita for approximately $ 9 instead of 2 margaritas for less than $ 8. Knowing that we all were there for happy hour, I do not understand why she would tell me to switch my drink order without mentioning that it was not included. We also ordered 3 appetizers and only one came out before our entrée order. The other two came out with our entrees. The food was decent. Towards the end of our meal, our server passed by and asked us if we knew how to pay our bill using the tablets and left. I planned on ordering another drink and dessert, but felt rushed out.

This location has been going downhill for the last few years. As much as we have enjoyed Applebees in the past (for years), it has taken more than a few instances of terrible service, substandard food and error-​ridden orders to turn us off so much that we have sworn off returning to this location. A few years ago, we ordered takeout from Applebees as often as once a week for our family of six. We have our orders down, know what we like, what the deals are, etc. About two years ago, the food began to be uneven so we visited less, but would keep periodically coming back with euphoric recall about how satisfied we once were. After all, a major advantage of their menu is how reproducible it is: you (should) always get the same quality dish, more or less. Well not only has that changed at this location, where the quality of food has become inconsistent, but the service is just awful. The time to wait that they predict is invariably inaccurate, they consistently get the order wrong, the food is wildly inconsistent in quality from one visit to the next. Once, we waited for 35 minutes in the take out area, only to finally enter the restaurant and find our food sitting and getting cold. Despite our vehicle being pointed headlights in to the takeout door, noone bothered to come out. Tonight they didn’t record ANY of our order for our kids (so we had to make a second stop for THEIR dinner), their predicted wait time was 15 minutes and it took 35 minutes and the two adult orders they did fill were riddled with errors (fried chicken instead of grilled with one order, no extra dressing for either order, no almonds for the salad (always on the side, as part of the dish), crispy noodles on the side with one salad, mixed in and soggy on the other. The buffalo boneless chicken wings were tough, as if they’d been sitting around. Tonight was really the last straw. We kept returning, hoping their service would improve and the quality of the food would bounce back, but it just hasn’t and it’s been too long. We won’t be going back and that’s saying something because we still like the menu items and the price is okay, but the quality of food and service, at least for our primary use (takeout) at this location, is unacceptable.

I was very satisfied with the customer service, folks were so nice and accommodating. My son and I ordered the steak with corn & fries, while my husband ordered the fish. The fish was ok, the fries were great… they even gave us extra fries shortly after our meal was delivered as they said they initially didn’t have a lot of fries on each plate. However the steak was awful — my son said it tasted like hotdogs! I can’t describe the taste except it was just bad! The texture was exactly what we ordered, but the taste was certainly not good at all!

However, ordered my salad from Olivia the Bar Tender and A Bahama Mama.
She took my order seemed pleasant.

It all Started with The Rebel Flag. And of Course, The Latinos, Black people I was starting to feel rally upset. Then it went on to the Gays. The Bartender left the Counter. She did not return with Management.
Could not believe I was in an Applebee’s.
When the Bar Tender returned. They were talking to her. I realized these poor excuses for «People» were Regulars.
That’s what I meant by X-​ing out:-(This is no longer Acceptable. Corp will get comments. Their a phone call Away. This makes me glad. That we are in a Free Nation.

F this place. If you eat here expect rude service with zero attentiveness and constant forgetting and worst frozen food that’s been sitting under the heating lamp and still taking 40min to come out

We come to this Applebee’s often. Never had a problem with the food or service until we went there on a Monday afternoon at 4 pm in March 2015. My husband and I got the hamburger specials for $ 6.00 and we also got a wedge salad to share. When we got the wedge salad, I cut it in half and my husband picked up one of the small plates that were already on the table with the silverware and put his half of the salad on the small plate. We were almost done with the salad when he picked up the 2 nd plate (there was a stack of four small plates). He must have seen something that made him pick up the 2 nd plate. The two bottom plates that were on the table had food all over them. One looked like spinach dip and the bottom one looked like it had butter or cheese on it. Gross! I about threw up knowing my husband ate off of dirty plates. We called the waitress over and told her and all she said was «oh» and took the plates away. When we got our hamburgers, I couldn’t even eat it because I was so grossed out! The waitress acted like it was no big deal! I feel like they should have comped our meal or at least offered us a free dessert. The waitress had a very lacksadaisical attitude, and we were never even told about the drink specials. I could hear our waitress telling the other employees how tired she was. I will probably not be going back to this Applebee’s even though its right down the street from my house.

I have eaten at several other Applebee’s before and been pleased, and although the service is good here, I have been disappointed with the food both times I ate here. The first time I had ribs, which were the dryest and toughest ribs I have ever eaten. Second time around I had a bourbon street steak which was dry, burned, and tasteless. I’m not a picky guy, so it takes a lot for me to be disappointed. Certainly will not make the mistake of coming here a third time.

For a local restaurant, the quality of food at this applebees is above average. Have you been there since they remodeled? Very impressive atmosphere with a contemporary design.
They now added an outdoor patio with two flat screens.

Probably the best Applebee’s we’ve visited. My son and I were here the day they opened and always a good spot for a quick bite and a cold one or two… with two for one it’s always twos. Menu keeps updating but still miss garlic crusted shrimp Cesar salad :0(But miss Wendi more, our favorite bartender of all time, she really was a big draw for us which is why we don’t visit near as much. But we enjoy Alex serving us, too. Good selection of food and good reliable place to stop any time of the day or night.

This is a good place to eat. That is pretty much all that there is to it. It is not that expensive, nor is too flashy or too much ego. The wait staff is fairly good but sometimes they need to pay attention to details a bit better. The food is what you would expect for the price.

Wonton tacos, chicken quesadillas, mozzarella sticks, fried green beans, chicken wings, pub pretzels spinach dip, thr only down side to applebees is that they only carry tabasco hot sauce. I aslo like this local in particular bc the bartender just called someone a fucktard.

Both times I ordered salad. Food was good. Prices are reasonable. Very pleased. any options which is nice.

Food is great but the service is a little slow today

The bourbon chicken and shrimp was very good, especially for the price. Served sizzling hot! And good wait staff. Good meal, good time.

Really good Applebee’s! Food was great and so was the service and the cleanliness. Place was suprizingly uncrowded.
