First time here, small brewery with excellent beers. The food truck is amazing, come on Friday and Saturday for the best tacos in town!!! Winning!!!

Although the brewery is small and in a weird location, I had to give it 5 stars because of the reason it exists… GOODBEER. It’s located next to Mckechnie Field(the Pittsburgh Pirates have spring training here). The parking lot is in the back of the brewery and is rather small. I enjoyed a Hidalgo and my friend tried the Ayawasca. Both were amazing! The quality of the beers is really high and that’s why I feel this brewery deserves 5 stars. The tasting room is very small, although they do have an outdoor/indoor seating arrangement. There was one bartender on staff on the particular Wednesday night we visited and she was very attentive and kind. I’d go back if it were closer to my home!

Great beer. Go. Now. The beer is really, really good, the location is stellar, and the vibe is pretty good. When Spring Training hits and the Pirates show up to play baseball, this place will be en fuego.

As a beer afficianado im constantly looking for new breweries to explore while i travel. Darwin brewing is a cozy place in bradenton with some unique peruvian flavored inapired beers on draft. I had the tamrind guavabana wheat beer which was sweet and fruity and made me wish the sun had been out this day. The pale ale was on point to. Great place to check out if you love craft beer

Very friendly, with a great variety of different lagers, pilsners, and IPAs. Love the variety of different tastes. The bartenders and Brewers were very knowledgeable, and gave us a tour of the entire facility. Highly recommended!

Went for this first time during the Evolution Market and it was packed! I tried the Geraldson Farm Red Ale and it was pretty good! Enjoyed all of the vendors and we will be back.

Really tasty beers, we wanted to try them all. And paired with the wings from the food truck outside, amazing!

Another trip to Sarasota and another local brewery visit! We planned to check out Darwin’s brewery on our last visit but our trip up to Bradenton/Anna Maria island ended up not coinciding with a day that they were open! Their outdoor area is adorable and I loved it as soon as we walked up from the parking lot. Inside the bar had a couple empty stools so we hopped on up. We had had a lot of their main offerings dining at Darwins on 4th in Sarasota so we stuck to some small batch offerings which were great. I especially loved the UNITE Red Hot which had a hint of pepper-y heat. We also picked up a bottle of their collab with Cigar City which we drank a couple nights later and it was delicious! Can’t wait to go back!

Saturday at 7:30pm and there was a game at the ballpark making parking tough. It was pretty busy inside for a time that is a bit of a dead zone for bars. They had a nice selection of beers on tap. I’m not a huge beer person but was able to sample and find something I liked.

We are here on Anna Maria island for vacation from Orlando and the last thing we expected was to find a brewery. So glad we took a ride over. They had a great selection of craft beers and everyone was super friendly. Wish it was closer!

I was underwhelmed with my experience at Darwin’s, but then again I don’t visit a lot of bars/breweries. First of all, walking into the courtyard area by the main entrance, it is not clear to the first time visitor if you seat yourself and wait for a server or if you just go in and buy and pay as you go. I sat at a table for a while while servers went back and forth ordering food at the outside food truck for other customers, but no one ever greeted me or asked me what I wanted. Okay… I guess I am on my own here to figure out the routine. I went in and ordered one of the chalkboard special brews($ 6) and paid for it and then went to the food truck and ordered what turned out to be the world’s tiniest soft taco for $ 4. While the taco was tasty and fresh, it was really small and if I had been hungry(and rich) I could have easily ordered and eaten 6 of them. There was a fresh lime dressing for the taco that was really good. There were some interesting looking multiple glass beer stands being served, I guess that was something you order to taste test a bunch of their special brews. I couldn’t say for sure since nobody bothered to engage me as a customer in any way whatsoever. I liked the place and wished it hadn’t been so «cold» as a first timer. I think they need to work on greeting people and welcoming them in to the whole specialty beer thing and ask a guest what they might want to try. It would take so little effort to make that connection and have a guest feel welcome and engaged in test driving a few exotic craft beers. I could have easily spent an afternoon there getting slowly drunk and spending a lot more money, but I left after sitting there for a while with an empty glass and an empty paper plate from the taco. When you sit there for a while and nobody offers a refill or asked you how you liked the food, you start to feel stupid and like the place is just waiting for you to leave and free up some space.

I can’t tell you what the product tastes like. I would love to, but when we showed up at 11:45 on a Sunday there was no one there, despite their website stating their hours as 11 – 8. They’ve since updated it to 12 – 8. However, we waited until almost 12:30 that day with no one appearing, no sign in the windows, and no message on their voicemail. It was very annoying to have gone out of the way for nothing and I definitely won’t be going back next time I’m up that way.

You would get 5, because I love the beer and used to love your food. I was really excited to see the food truck was coming since one of the main reasons I came was to have some dinner with my great beers. However, it seems that your food truck hours are inconsistent and not what they are listed as on Facebook. We came on Saturday and we were told the truck left 4 pm, had to leave after one beer so we could get food somewhere else.

Sweet little place. Big crowd. Crowded on a Fri /Sat nite. Not enough outdoor seating. Not enough indoor seating. No stage per se, live music plays outside on the grass. Friday nites they have a few craft tables, food trucks Polpo’s woodfire pizza(looked good), and Darwin’s truck with tacos, sandwiches, spring rolls(not seen or tried). They held a beer tasting with good-looking snacks, we didn’t participate. Was a very LONG wait to be served at the bar. Beers are good,(tried Pirata Pils, Summer Dayze, Honey Lager. First 2 were extremely hoppy and bitter. Honey Lager(if they have it) is a low-key, mellow starter for your first time out, if the flavored or sweet other novel beers aren’t to your taste. Parking is across the street beside the stadium, in an empty gravel lot that used to hold a Popi’s diner. Hope Darwin’s can keep it, bec without it, parking would be really difficult. Would def go back.

Great brewery. Good staff. Tons of things on tap to take care if all tastes. At the moment we went they had 3 beers Sacha, chicha, Camu. That are seasonal. The fruits they used are grown only for certain times. Great tasting beers. I actually enjoyed the spiced porter. Ask about the two pepper porter that’s not on the menu. They made it so you get the taste do the peppers, but not so much the burn from the spiced ness. I wish I was local as I would be coming back. They have a nice tasting room and a small grass area outside with corn hole.

Awesome Authentic Peruvian Drinks and Beer! Very cool atmosphere, relaxed, no stress. Very nice staff, unique craft beers, all fresh. Gotta love the Cancha(Toasted Corn) that is complimentary with beer. Antonio behind the bar is the man!

Had a great time at Darwin the other day. All the beers were spot on. Our bartender, Renee(I believe), was hilarious. She had us in stitches. On top of being super knowledgeable about all the beers on tap. Can’t wait to make it back.

I came by Darwin on a Friday outing with some lady friends. Darwin had not yet had their grand opening, so we were among some of the first people to get to try this new spot. This place has serious potential and is going to do very well. It was a nice evening, which made the open air set up very nice. We opted for outside seating and enjoyed hanging at one of the picnic table. I went for the pilsner that they had on tap and I really enjoyed it. My other friends really enjoyed their beers, as well. The owner came and introduced himself and thanked us for coming to his spot, which was a nice touch. I would really like to come back here sometime after their grand opening. Tip: very close to the Pittsburgh Pirates stadium, so a great place to stop for a pre-game beer!

CrAft beer as it should be! Over ten craft beers on tap and they haven’t had their grand opening yet. This is what our area needs in Bradenton to put us on the map for craft beer. Their beers are on point and continue to improve. Love it!
